I think MMR and Rank should be switched

I think Rank should not be able to lose pips but MMR should.


Currently you progress to a point you can't go down on MMR so every game is guaranteed to be a sweat run.

Rank which is a reward for how much you play should remain and not decrease based off of pips.


The real solution is to let people know what MMR level you are at, since Rank badges are meaningless except for the monthly reward.

    What do you mean you get to a point where your MMR can't go down? It definitely can.

    :I don't think it does if any, every killer I get is super perk and add-ons no matter how poorly I play. Until the Devs show us actual ranking mmr will continue to be a mess.

    Your MMR is adjusted over time however you may have to lose a LOT of games for it to move you to your preferred MMR rating. However, if you have playing for a long time your MMR might be very high <a lot of killers who consistently 4ked or survivors who escaped>. It will take a while before you eventually end up where you are supposed to. However if you can hold your own currently than MMR appears to have found the right matches for you <even if you must sweat>.

    <Important note> I do not think MMR is terrible or great, I do believe that it is a better system because more survivor teammates are more capable and my killer matches are more to my liking. Unfortunately, it may differ for you but this system is set in stone for the foreseeable future. Also if you do manage to escape but the match was not enjoyable dying or having all survivors leave the match <exit by gate> MMR reportedly counts that as a loss.

    TLDR | MMR is staying for the foreseeable future and it may take time to find your preferred MMR.
