"Map offerings are fine just use sacrifical ward"
yeah 1 of how many greens when your one killer vs 4 survivors meaning you already probably have less offerings overall? Sacrifical ward should honestly go to common imo at least if we don't wanna touch map offerings. Also for the people that say "this doesn't happen often" yes it does just play killer for a whole day and count how many of the total games a survivor brings a map offering. (Although it might just be my mmr)

Map offerings suck because majority of maps suck for Killer. If the maps were balanced it wouldn't matter.
Look at the amount of pallets on The Game and tell me that map is okay, the fact it hasn't been changed yet is embarrassing.

Apart from a Sacrificial Ward, you can also burn your own map offering and see what happens.

You are right about the rarity change tbh, should be common, especially since hatch offerings are

Sacrificial ward :
Tremendously increases the chance of the survivors not using an offering

Honestly, just bring back yellow map offerings and bump the cake and pudding up to green--that would change the usage in a roundabout way.
Maybe bump then even higher instead? Would there be a point in using map offerings if they were iri? Would wards be moved to purple with the rest, then? I'd be interested in seeing the results of that...

Honestly, it wouldn't have been a problem if this game had a level design team.
2 -
Yeah, this is really a balance issue as opposed to an offering issue. Maps shouldn't heavily favor one side over the other.

Guys, correct me if I'm wrong but if i want to play random map but face 5 Haddonfield offerings in a row it's my fault? Imho, offerings should exist only in custom games.

I mean the 4 man i play with i have 13 haddonfield another has 12 another has 20 and another 9. So...54 haddonfields? Considering a killer and survivors map offerings are equal in power theres a high chance at least half of those will hit if say the killer ran their own to counter it.
1 -
And then after 54 Haddonfields u bring another survivor map.... Those who suggest to bring Sacrificial wards probably have billions of them otherwise it's BS.

The sacrificial ward should not be consumed if no map offerings are played imo.
I would like to see map offerings taken out of the game though, I prefer it random and have only ever used one. That was to finishing my 'fall from a great height' challenge when I kept getting nothing but flat maps with no heights.

Just break all the pallets 4head, once they are gone on that map that is all the survivors have to use

Yeah and considering only like 3 maps are killer favored and 1 is leaving (hawkins) id say theres a high chance of having an easy time as survivor for a long time if we wanted to use all our map offerings. We just don't.

You forgot the secondary effect "will play haddonfield after you eventually run out from missing"

The problem is that survivors use map offerings of Realms they know are unbalanced for killer. Apart from Autohaven and MacMillian (arguably, maps like Gas Heaven, Blood Lodge, Groaning Storehouse and Suffocation Pit are super survivor sided as well), every single map offering on the video is for the match to play on a bad map for killer. Balance the maps, and suddenly the map offerings aren't a problem anymore.

If you know it's a SWF then you can try a ward or your own map offering. When its solo queue theres no point in wasting either because they wont always bring an offering. At least in my experience

The saddest thing is that they have changed the map and made it worst than it was before.
1 -
Me using sacrificial ward and discovering survivors brought no offering.
2 -
Just delete both. They just clutter bloodwebs.

Maybe its not the offerings but the maps themselves. 🤔

Look, I just want the yellow offerings back. I miss the Ledgers and Plates and Clapboards. Sure it was mostly clutter, but it was cool clutter.

I liked the design of the old brown Haddonfield offering. Not the map, just the offering.

What was that one again, the harvest festival poster? I loved the progression of the offerings--from a vaguely related item to a key part of the location in one way or some literal others. Whaw. S'was cool, but it did bloat the web a lot.

It was a poster with a halloween pumpkin on it. The harvest festival like you said.

I want a bunch of stuff deleted personally.

I personally think map offerings are boring
I prefer random selection

Killers should be the only ones allowed to use map offerings survivors should have all their maps deleted and refunded bp

Map offerings wouldn't be an issue if maps weren't so god awful from a balance perspective. I take a Coldwind offering for a chance to put the killer on Cowshed, Rotten Fields, or Torment Creek. I take a Badham offering because they're all hilariously survivor sided. Ditto for Haddonfield and Ormond. Or I can put a low mobility killer on Red Forest. It's absurd. The map design is really bad.

Would you really use Sacrificial wards if they were common? You would probably have just slightly more than what you have now, just because there's so many commons on the blood-web. Plus why waste an offering slot on a sacrificial ward when there are much better offerings to use.
I'd much rather them just be removed from the blood-web and make space for better offerings. Get rid of Clear Reagent for Survivors. Get rid of the Killer Reagents. Get rid of the shrouds or switch them. Get rid of keys and all of those add-ons (After the nerf).

Funny enough, just made a feedback post on this. Don't consume the offering if no map is played, forbid going to the realm of the offering burned, and perhaps lower to yellow.

The solution stays the same. Delete map offerings

Just make sacrificial ward common and make it so your guranteed not to go to that map.
