Why do mods respond to random stuff but not discussions with good feedback?

As far as I have seen, mods are only responding or giving feeback/suggestions to off topic stuff, bug reports/general reports and to get rid of random stuff they don't like that doesn't even break forum rules, why don't mods and devs look/respond to discussions with lots of actual realistic criticism about some major flaws of the game and how BHVR can change that for the better in a way that your community will positively support?

Would you rather them actually working to make the game better or just arguing over pointless bs all day?

I understand that, but even just saying "Hey that is a nice idea, we will see what we can do to talk about something like this" would be so much better than what they do now which is ignore player feedback

I'd imagine they try not to respond to threads with too much hostility, negativity, and toxicity. Which, paired with the fact that any thread which gains enough traction to potentially warrant viewing almost always has some portion of that, probably means they don't want to encourage that behaviour too much.

Doesn't matter how good your feedback is if it's paired with a tone of "i can't believe you haven't done this yet, it's pathetic, you're terrible developers and this game is trash".

Its what they call fire management alot of the times fires will existinguish themselves over time and nothing needs to be said but other times a lot of little fires can combine into a roaring blaze and its better to address them so as to extingush them over time and not let them become more fuel for the next issue

I’d be happier if they responded with more prompt changes in the actual game than words on the forum.

I'm not blaming the community for the choices the devs make; I'm simply pointing out this community cannot engage in civil discussions without resorting to insults.

What purpose would that serve, exactly, beyond everyone and their mother then claiming that BHVR was totally gonna implement those changes?

The moderators are mostly here to moderate. They have streams to address what they want to address.

Because if its a hot button issue it's almost always a lose lose scenario for them.

I most certainly can, but I can't say the same for others and I've seen plenty of posts on here of people just resorting to insults because of a differing opinion.

    So?

This board has a moderation team that deals with posting that breaks the rules.

Yea the calm minded ones among us understand that totally. I personally know what a mod has to go through watching over forums. It just alot of us as you can see are really feeling like everything is falling on dead ears......changes that make killers harder and not fun to play because of hackers......SWF hit squads litterly using the new MMR to harass low ranked or lower skill killers or killers who are not of the competition mindset. Strange Nerfs that don't make any sense and constant increase and empowerment to survivors in general.

We as a player community need feedback from the Devs to our concerns because we do really like this game but hate seeing how its being treated.

I don't really understand where you're going with all these questions.

Thank you for responding and shedding some light on this, while I agree you cannot respond to every single existing thread I do feel there is an imbalance of feedback/answers between off-topic stuff and game related stuff. Still I want to thank you for your time to actually respond and give me an answer and I understand a bit better now.

This forum exists as a communication interface between customers/players/clients amongst themselves, and to Devs, as moderated by a designated staff.

Its not rocket science, and all game forums since the internet has existed have been in the same format.

What part of that are you not understanding?

I understand perfectly well what a forum is, and what it's purpose is. What I don't understand is the point of your questions directed at me, specifically.

I still remember how Almo tried selling me that the wooden horse for Huntress is a good addon on one of my posts
