Something you would change in DBD?

I would change the ability for the killer to see the usernames of people in the lobby and game, having usernames replaced with character names like Feng Min or Jake Park until the end game screen. It would be much like how it is for how the survivors can’t see the username of the killer unless using certain exploits, and only mid match. If there was more than 1 person using the same character, it would be Jake Park no.1 and Jake Park no.2 for the killer

The reason I would make this change is because I play on the oceanic servers which have less numbers, and I always get the same killers. It’s annoying playing with a killer you have played many matches against before, and they know it's you. Some of these killers play very toxic.

What’s something that you would change in DBD if you could that would make the experience a lot more enjoyable?

    I would give killers the survivor hook counter. I'd love to see if survivors are on their second hook state so that I know to not tunnel them.

  • I would make survivors have acceleration

    Currently, when survivors start running from zero they immediately hop to one hundred percent movement speed. I would change this to them gradually ramping up to a hundred percent movement speed and this would fix three-sixties, zigzagging, dead hard, running into wall <this would slow them down> and punish them for hugging walls.

    I would revert MANY changes, thats for sure.

    And give players the option to choose their menu, of course. Many people, myself included, miss the Halloween lobby and the Winter lobby.

    I would rework every bad map in the game and make sure Survivors do NOT ever spawn on separate gens.

    Probably a pretty big one, but my priority would be looking at how the randomised tile spawn thing works. It currently has way too many edge cases that screw over one side, killer or survivor, and that's not super fair.

    Other than that, totem spawns. They should be way more consistent than they currently are.

    Hard agree. The layout probably wouldn't be too hard to make into the studio his former bandmates died in, for instance.

    I would just reverse all the realm beyond updates. I miss old dbd

    Changes for balancing I would like to see first:

    -buff soloQ and give them more info that is easy to share for SWF.

    I can talk about that more if interested.

    -buff base regression to 150% and nerf ruin to 150%

    this will result in a way, where you don't have to bring slow-down and there will be way more good slow-down perks, not just Ruin, Pop. So for more variety in high MMR games.

    -buff weak perks on both sides

    so we don't see same perks over and over again

    -buff weak killers

    So again there is variety in high MMR games. Not just top 3 killers and sometimes A tier.


    QoL changes

    -Let me disable end-game lobby filter. It just sucks.

    -save my custom outfits combinations

    -save perk "loadouts"

    Simple... I would bring back 4.7.1 blight where he had j flicks and moon rushes. My reasoning is because blight is becoming bland now that I'm constantly going for bump logic hits when jflicks had counterplay so that made them incredibly risky as you were forced to commit not now where you can adjust mid flick.

    1 - rework almost every map

    2 - buff soloq to swf level and balance killers accordingly

    3 - nightime coldwind

    4 - more indoor maps

    5 - rewrite most of the archives lore

    I would get rid of SBMM. It doesn't work, the game is too unbalanced for it and it's killed the fun in playing killer. No one should have to play as a competitive sweatlord 95% of one's matches. It just feels bad.

    I'm afraid you misunderstood what I meant. Let's picture it this way: two survivors are doing a generator. The killer comes by and both survivors run away, one of which having been hooked 0/1 times and the while the other had been hooked twice. The killer goes for the one hooked twice, intentionally or unintentionally, in order to secure the kill. I do this unintentionally at times because I tend to forget when a particular survivor is hooked twice.

    I would change BHVR, instead of dbd, they need to understand the playerbase which they don't in any way possible.

    Completely rework how the blood-web works and what is in it.

    It currently take way too many blood-points to get anywhere in a web and it takes way too long to spend your blood-points once you have them.
