Pinhead's chains and survivors
I played Pinhead and detect 1 strange thing. Survivors very quiclky drop chains and I didnt know why.Chains not stop survivors and not reduce speed.
After time I understood that smart survivors run and keep m1 button and chains can't give required effect.Chains not work. It is tactic too?
and 1 question. Why survivor can jump when chains caught him?
PS Pinhead's chains work very slow,and time to activate very long.

Its more to do with chains instantly breaking off terrain and pinhead himself then the chains being removed via the break chain interaction.
It would be nice if the chain break off terrain took a little bit longer. Also in some cases you meed to place your portal in front not behind a survivor as the chains will break very easily if you hit them with a summoned chain as there vaulting a window.
Pinhead overall baseline is a solid killer with a refreshing objective to interact with. His add ons border on busted except engineers fang in particular is pushed but those add ons are designed for handling the comp teams so I'm more forgiving of them.

I mostly agree with you, but I gotta point something out about his addons
He has a subset of addons that are almost completely useless.
Those being casting range and chain distance. If they don't want you to use your chains at long range (an in game tip even tells you not to) why make 2 different sets of addons that allow you to do that

I assume those are for aggresive box protection builds. Truth be told there overall bad addons but for the most part i find pinheads add ons to be excellent.

Which addon of his lets him turn invisible and have intermittent terror radius, before appearing behind you and downing you (not a teleport; no cube in hand)?

Maybe he had Dark Devotion and transferred his terror radius to the Obsession? That or he had Chatterer's Tooth, which reveals the box to him but deactivates chain hunts and grants the Undetectable status effect for 12 seconds.

Was someone else carrying the cube? Maybe someone in your vicinity?

If he just popped in and teleported behind you (nothing personnel kid) or attacked you while invisible, then he was just hacking.
If you just didn't see him before he hit you, he was most likely using any of a large number sources of Undetectable, such as Dark Devotion, Tinkerer, etc.
Next time you would be better off just waiting until the game is over so you can read his perks/addons and see what they do.
