How do you think the rework or buff to Ghostface would be?

Well, as the trailer for Scream 5 came out, I decided to celebrate it by playing as Ghostface with its classic cosmetic that is the same that appears in Scream although it is not Scream, it acts similar to Scream in the map of The Game appearing in the doors that open when they repair a generator, looking for ways to appear as a surprise with "A Nurse's Calling" Honestly the game with an atmosphere of Scream that made me have a good time that I even rate it.

Good but returning to what the title says from my funny anecdote, how do you think the hypothetical change of Ghostface would be, since blood is my first Main and I am super interested in reading your thoughts and that the developers make it super strong and more fun to use as hiding in a locker and scare the survivor. it would be a meme.

It's likely going to be an addon pass, because Ghostface largely still has unuseful addons besides a few addons, and adjustments to the reveal mechanic since both sides have complaints about it.

I don't see anything else happening to him.

It will probably be nerfs. Maybe they will give him a lullaby to make his undetectable pointless. He will probably be able to be revealed after x number of seconds instead which will guarantee you can reveal him while running away. And also his one shot will probably force you to be in stealth mode.

    My official predictions.

Ghost face is fine he's not the best but fun to play with his power recharge coming down to 24s base kit in the next up date he just need a good addon pass like what Billy is getting this patch

I think they are gonna do something like they did with Clown. A addon pass and also some changes or adjustments to his base power.

I hope they are gonna do something about the hit where you remove the stalk progress on the survivors cuz this can be easily exploited by bodyblocking while you carry someone on a hook, therefore you just reset your progress which is huge and takes away alot of pressure to the survivors. Atleast make it that they lose 50% of the stalk progress or something else.

That's not an exploit. People need to stop calling anything smart survivors do to counter a killer's power an exploit.

Look up a dictionary if you dont know what that word means. Its literally the word that describes what I am talking about.

  • Losing a 99 because you did not capitalize on it and the survivor did something smart is your fault. Observe your surroundings and plan accordingly also adjust based on the situation why not drop the survivor and finish downing <now you have one slugged one hooked>.

You do realize that you let them wiggle off if you try to drop them when they are nearly at the end of struggle?

Also seems like you are rather new to dbd, and especially to Ghostface. Storing up your 99 stalk is a common and smart strategy for Myers and Ghostface to prepare your next insta down in a better and more appealing moment.

You dont simply pop your stalk on 100% if you see the survivor far away, you will most likely not even be able to hit them if you pop your stalk too early, you want to pop it off when you are close up or if they are in a bad position where no pallets or windows are.

  • Yes, you do realize that by planning ahead and predicting outcomes you can swing a match to your favor right?

However I agree with you that this is smart to do from the survivor perspective which I have nothing to say about that. But it is still way too efficiant without any counteplay to it from the Killers perspective, this comes close to where survivors where able to sabo the Trappers bear traps.

You can also use the same argument there "well its just smart from the survivor". Yes it is smart, still doesnt justify the action.

So your plan is to never pick up a survivor and slug all of them? Good luck with that.

They will probably change his useless add-ons into different useless add-ons.

Think he could use having Legions ability to vault pallets. Played GF last night on coldwind and he has 0 stealth whatsoever in broad daylight. Would like his power to reward landing hits whilst in NS. Missing a hit against a juker is dam right annoying.

I assume they are just going to restore the original reveal mechanic where survivors can just spin in place and reveal him if they see one tiny bit of him for a fraction of a second, just because being able to stalk and expose survivors is too strong.

an interesting idea that I thought about is what if ghostface had a shadowstep like attack when he marks a survivor in nightshroud in m2 when leaning. it would teleport him next to the survivor in 360 degrees angle around survivor and he could lunge from it. My guess is that survivors would just camp pallets to stun him. It would be like an zero travel time nurse blink.

My guess is for ghostface rework will be that they'll reduce the time required to break out ghostface by 50% because many casual survivors have trouble breaking him out, but double speed(100% speed) to mark survivors with some add-on changes.
