Buckle Up rework idea
Does anyone really use Buckle Up? I know I don't. I have never used it. It's a way to niche of a perk to use and the effect seems lacking luster. I think its time for this perk to get reworked. I think a good idea to buff the perk.
Buckle Up
Unlocks potential in one's aura reading abilities
When the killer is 5 meters within a survivor in the dying state their aura is shown. When you pick a survivor up from the dying state you both sprint at 150% movement Speed for 3 seconds.
Buckle Up cause the exhaustion status effect for both you and the injured survivor for 60/50/40 seconds. Buckle Up cannot be used while exhausted.
I think making it an exhaustion perk would be good. What do you think?

it should exhaust the dying survivor too.

Didn't I put that?

Thank you for noticing the mistake.

Nice : D

This might not be great in solo q because you wouldn’t know if the survivor on the ground is exhausted or not. Although it does seem like a cool idea and I guarantee people will use it.

Oh lord I just imagined Buckle Up For The People combo. I wonder how strong that will be.

You could have it ignore the already exhausted effect like with adrenaline. Would that be good.

That could work. Honestly it sounds like it would be meta which would be awesome. I don’t think it would be OP because it would punish the killer for hardcore slugging instead of making it free but I think it would be pretty cool.

idk. i think it would easily beat headon as the worst exhaustion perk in the game, and wouldn't see much use other than in dedicated builds. also, every other exhaustion perk is pretty much up to you when you want to use it, but this one would rely on the killer slugging. I also don't like the idea of another survivor causing me to be exhausted when I don't want it.

maybe instead of 150% exhaustion, it could give like 10% haste for both of you and 6 seconds endurance effect for the teammate (like Soul Guard but in reverse)

Buckle up should be in basekit.

I think it would be a big change with this concept.
