Minecraft servers have better anticheat.
I mean how hard is it to implement a code that it detects when something happens when it shouldn't be possible.
"Did a survivor heal shortly after being hit? Were there other survivors or a medkit add on? No? Ban"
"Is a Survivor falling? How long have they been falling? Too long, ban"
"Animation not playing when it's supposed to? Ban"
I mean hell I just loaded into a match with all my totems being hexes and I'm not even running hexes. Lo and behold the FIRST person I hit insta heals right in front of me. Over the past couple months I've slowly been seeing more and more hackers and I'm getting sick of it, and I'm certain 90% of this community is sick of it too.
But no, I guess that's asking too much.

If it were that easy, don't you think every single game in existence would have a perfect anti-cheat? I'm not saying DbD's is perfect, but you have to know it's not as simple as "thing happens when it shouldn't".

low-end whataboutism, 'thing that shouldn't happen has happened' is not the epitome of anti-cheat but it's a decent low effort system to flag games to be looked at

Another thing, Matches should be recorded up until every player has left the match and are back in the menus. If a report was made before the lobby emptied, it would be submitted for review to see if the report was valid. This can easily punish people who abuse the report system for stupid reasons, like how people figured out that if they ever add that automatic ban system, people could be unfairly banned because a salty swf could just 4 man report a killer who camped at end game.

The funniest part is that it's not even an exaggeration: default minecraft server will automatically kick you if you are in air for too long without creative mod, if you move too fast and so on. There is nothing like this in DbD: cheaters are flying like doves without any obstacles.

Don't bring up the fallacies. Certain posters breathe the things.

The guy exagerate a bit but its true minecraft anti cheat is better. Not only that but you know when a ban hammer happen in other game in this game you have no idea if your report is look at. I saw a guy getting ban in the middle of a game in apex and both apex and dbd use EAC so at that point is the compagnie being lazy with report.
I know the mod have said they look into each report but honestly how can we believe it with the amount of cheater the game have and how complicated it is to make a report for a cheater. I think the compagnie forgot not everyone record their game

I mean... some mc servers have it. The only difference is the moderators spectate the person to make sure if they're cheating or not.

ye but it's a peeve of mine when it comes to coding things being a mystical voodoo jungle that's untouchable and mysterious
it's not, and i've routinely coded convoluted things for games a non-coding peanut gallery considers impossible in literal minutes

The biggest problem with your argument is that... DBD is DBD. It has had, does currently have and will continue to introduce crazy bugs. For example your point about "Is a Survivor falling? How long have they been falling? Too long, ban" could easily cause false bans.
For instance these could get you false banned for falling for too long:
- Have you ever bugged outside the exit gates before and fell off the map? Plenty of people have - it's been a recurring bug over the years.
- There used to be space program Billy's flying in the air due to a bug (which isn't cheating, it was a bug).
- You used to be able to get hit, Dead Hard, bounce off something and go flying off of buildings. A bug. You shouldn't be banned for cheating.
Now who knows what other bugs will be discovered that'll make you go falling for too long. What if a cheater intentionally decides to spawn you at a significant height to get you banned?
Here's another bug that existed that could get you falsely banned for "cheating":
So this isn't really the best way of dealing with cheaters. But I do agree they need to be dealt with more effectively.
