Do you have to get the quad outside of killing related tasks?

So I've been coming across a lot of killers that are trying too hard when it comes to getting every survivor on the hook and taking the game hostage by leaving a survivor downed when it's two left. My team verified they are capped at 32,000 BP and it surely tells them maxed during BP actions while they are doing the actions. Is it worth trying to camp the hatch and keep a survivor downed just to get a quad kill when your points are capped no matter your offerings? Otherwise I think you're a try hard with some aggression to get out with a violent game.
