Bring back Splinter offerings.
I think these were a really cool addition to the game. They were great for testing out the DLC Killers and seeing which ones you'd like to buy. The Hag and Doctor splinters were removed when they were made purchasable with shards, and later all Splinters were removed. I think Splinters should make a return, for both original and licensed Killers. Here are what the offerings could be called, for each Killer that didn't have one previously:
The Clown - Gas Splinter
The Spirit - Haunted Splinter
The Legion - Painted Splinter
The Plague - Bile Splinter
The Ghost Face - Sharp Splinter
The Oni - Bloody Splinter
The Deathslinger - Loogie Splinter
The Executioner - Metal Splinter
The Blight - Serum Splinter
The Twins - Double Splinter
The Trickster - Shiny Splinter
The Nemesis - Rotten Splinter
The Cenobite - Chained Splinter
The Artist - Ink Splinter
Do you think Splinters should be brought back? And what do you think about these names for new Splinters?

i'd rather see them in the web than 'all survivors start spread out' or 'reduce visibility with more fog' and i'd never use them

If you ask me, mist offerings and that shroud should be retired. They are useless trash.

everything has a reason, not every occurrence's reason is immediately apparent

of course, except this reason isn't beneficial for players - i'm talking from player's perspective

If the fog offerings actually worked like real fog and more so only for survivors then it would be more applicable and fun for killers.
The shrouds are indeed worthless, everyone usually spawns all together anyway, unless its a larger map.

They were quite nice, although I would only do these for licensed Killers so you can try the killer before spending real money.

That's how it used to be. Only licensed killers has splinters.
One thing I would change about them, if they ever bring them back (which I doubt they will), is to equip the trial killer with their 3 default perks at level 1, rather than how it used to be where you tried the new killer, but without any perks or offerings equipped.

Honestly i'd rather they not bring back splinters, and instead make 1 of the DLC killers free to play on every weekend. Let players demo them to see if they are interested in them.

At the beginning the non licensed killers (Hag, Doctor) also had splinters.

oh? It was before my time. When I started, only licensed ones had splinters, they got removed not very long after that (around the time Ghostface came out, think he's the first licensed one to never have had a splinter after their removal) but I got to try out a killer or two using them before they got removed.
(quick search, apparently Splinters got removed in February 2020, when the Deathslinger/Zarina chapter came out. But they never released new splinters for Ghostface or Demogorgon in the meantime)
