I've seen a few people suggest that survivors should have to find gas canisters before they begin repairing generators. I think it's kind of a neat idea and thought it could use a little more complexity to make it more fun and interactive.

Basically, canisters with different types of gas spawn throughout the map at the beginning of the trial. In order to begin repairing, a survivor must find a canister and add fuel to the generator. Here are some gas types I came up with. The values are rough so don't get hung up on the numbers, but lmk what you think of the concepts.

1. Regular Gas: It's nothing fancy, but it gets the job done. This has no effects on generator repairing.

2. Putrid Gas: This low quality gas slows down repair speed by 15% but the awful stench gives you all the motivation you need to make this trip as short as possible, movement speeds are increased by 15% while not in a chase.

3. Eye Watering Gas: The fumes from this gas are intense. All players within 8m of this generator suffer from blurred vision (similar to Clown's gas). All survivors suffer from Blindness while repairing this generator. The status effect persists for 3 seconds after stopping repairs.

4. Premium Gas: This is the finest quality gas on the market. With no impurities, it makes engines purr like a kitten. Anything that would cause generator progress regression is reduced by 25%.

5. Highly Volatile Gas: Be careful! The smallest static friction could cause this gas to explode. Survivors carrying this gas must walk.. slooowllyy. If they suffer damage or step in a trap while carrying this gas, the canister explodes and they are instantly downed regardless of health state. Movement speeds are reduced by 15%.

6. Viscous Gas: Is this gas or molasses?! Fueling a generator with this gas takes 10 seconds.

7. Empty Canister: Oh great, some inconsiderate jerk left this empty canister laying about. You must fill this at a fuel pump. (1-2 random pumps spawn on the map. Each type of gas has its own distinctive looking pump)
