From what we've seen, the devs themselves didn't know about the NFT business. McLean posted about it and two current BHVR employees that I've seen reacted to it as well in a "we didn't know" manner. So really it's down to the management that did this. And I'm sure as long as profits look good management isn't going to care. Which is...extremely disappointing on so many levels.

for me its weird since they have stated that they have worked with this nft compani, how in the world they coulndnt know what they were doing

They have worked for the company by adjusting Pinhead's model (according to them) so it could make sense that the news wasn't widespread inside the company, you need a 3D designer to edit a model, you don't need a gameplay programmer
Maybe even the designer didn't know the exact reason they were editing Pinhead's model, althought that would be a bit more strange

in my opinied Bhvr workers just trying to do simple damaged controll nothing more, while waiting for the resons of the PR team which doing really poor job.
I can only belive that McLean didnt knew anything about it since he was leaving

You really think low level programmers, artists, PR and community teams are going to be privy to the exact business decisions made by the managers of the company?
That isn't how businesses work, let alone game development firms.

McLean likely knew, although I cannot prove that at all. Save face, because alot of the upper mgmt team members are going to know this is on the table. A company typically doesn't simply jump onto a new currency without notifying it's various departments, especially it's accounting department.
It's likely most of the other departmental low and mid level employees were not notified, however, it was not necessarily "need-to-know" basis, because accounting isn't the only need to know department. Marketing as well as various programmers would need to know all this as well in order to generate the Hellraiser coupons, so I highly doubt McLean didn't know, being a lead programmer.
