    Ranking system is #########?

    I looped the killer for the whole game while my team did 5 gens (good job by the way) but at the end of the day i depiped. Well i guess im a bad survivor for mindgaming rank 6 killer for the 10 or so minutes i deserve to depip. Pretty good job so far.

      Yes, new emblem system forces you to do different objectives. Unlucky you get tunnel vision chased, next time you'll have to escape the chase and do a gen at least ;p

      I wouldn't say this is the major issue why it takes so long to find victims tbh. Sure, it is one of the reasons, but not major one.

      You need to do well in all categories, look them up on the wiki.

      by the way, if you escape then you never depip actually, so I assume you are simply lying (feel free to prove me wrong)

      The game is more about just being good at 1 category.

      The idea is you do a gen, save someone from a hook, give the killer a run around.

      Same with killer, if kills were the only thing that mattered they would just capture 1-2 people and facecamp but chases are needed.

      They also deranked.  Sacrifice for the others.  Most gamers in 2018 refuse to break a chase, they’d rather throw the game.  

      Good job.  Still impressive.  Who cares about ranking up anyways?  I can’t stand red rank Survivor.  It’s the most unfun in this game.

      As survivor, if u want to double pip it's only possible if ur teammates are bad so u can get points for unhooking. Doing gens and running the killer will give u only one pip, at best. But at the end who cares about pipping? As long as the devs don't implement any rewards I couldn't care less.

      I can also count on my both hands how often I got 32k as survivor (farming doesn't count, around 1k hours survivor playtime) while as Killer I do that at least once in 24 hours. It's busted and needs a rework

      Red rank killer is way more unfun.

      All a matter of perspective.  I don’t care about being red rank Killer.  Except now the lobbies are horrendous, so I haven’t played much this season.  Only Rank 5 Killer atm.

      Both sides systems need a major upgrade although the present one was better than the one before and the next one should be an improvement as well. But looping the killer only doesn't help you pip up, you need to do some totems, open chests, do some gen progress, unhooks, heals etc.

      i died. but it's not the point. my point is that. it took 10 minutes for the killer to get me wasting enough time for my team to do the gens. i litteraly won the game for the rest of the team yet i depiped

      Thats because the goal is to loose the killer,. not to loop him.
      You failed in doing your objective, so yuo depip

      you didnt get the point. i did fail in losing him, but i belive that i at least should be rewarded for taking so much time from the killer. there is category called evasion. i eveded this guy for 10 minutes straight allowing my team to complete the objective, AND im not even metioning the fact that he kept on chasing me after the 3d gen poped. im not mad at my team or anything. they did what they had to do. would they be able to complete the objective without my loops? probably yes but im sure that someone would die. therefore i did my team a favor. i played as a teamplayer would do. and yeeeet im punished?

      How did you depip? Shouldn’t you have safety pipped at least with iridescent Evader emblem??

      You are 100% correct that the Emblem system doesn't properly measure your contribution to the match.

      Luckily you are blessed with an equally meaningless ranking system.
