Last chance at ST cosmetics at 50% off..... and now there is a 75% off sale? What?
First off I realize I did get a good deal with the Stranger Things cosmetics at 50% off. However, I still feel totally cheated. The sale said "LAST CHANCE" It didn't say "LAST CHANCE AT 50% OFF BUY NOW SO YOU MISS THE 75% OFF SALE".
That is false advertising. Last Chance to me means the last chance I can buy the outfits at a sale price. What a waste of money. I buy a ton of cosmetics too. I feel like I bought the cosmetics from a shady eBay seller now and not DBD. Terrible. You guys need to be more clear. I know you have to make money and all but be honest.
All this being said I want to wish the community members a wonderful Halloween, may you all receive treats and not tricks. You know tricks like sales that say Last Chance. 😉

I just wish Last Chance meant last chance. I will think long and hard before I buy any cosmetics. I'm just happy I saw the stranger things 75% off sale because I was just about to buy all of Mikaela's cosmetics. I was seconds away from an auric cell purchase.

i wasn't going to buy the cosmetics at full price without waiting ages to see if they did the 50% sale again
at least they did but honestly why was there even that gap in the first place, it should've just all been 50% all the way through
and hell even 50% on individual cosmetic pieces for once because it's literally a death sale, throw customers a bone and they'll buy some stuff

From my understanding it the Winter Sweater that is reduced to 75% off and the others remain at the same price? If this is incorrect, please let me know.

Last Chance in advertising never means last chance. Even in IRL shops. It's actually been a point of contention in the consumer marketing world for a long time. Every few years it cycles back into consumer awareness discourse. Ultimately, it is buzz wording to prey on people's psychological need to not miss out on getting something for a good deal even though if an item is being discontinued the price will almost always drop further. It is a from of false advertising, but not in the sense of legally actionable. It sucks, but companies have been getting away with this technicality for decades.

That's true. Seems this 75% off is just for the sweater though. I was under the impression it was for the entire cosmetic catalogue for ST.

Well to be fair, I only bought characters because they going away. I dont play them so no need to get cosmetics. But if it was about some characters I do play a lot, I would probably buy everything on first sale too lol
