Yes it's the best thing ever, finally you can just dodge the sweaty lobbies, and hackers.

one way to find out

Yes they are

Well I just found out. Screw that console Mikaela who did not commit to that 99 gen with Ruin up as I took aggro.

I got a 2 min ban yesterday after the game crashed. It crashed again today...but no ban.

I think its because of the crashing issues from the latest update that the dc penalty is disabled.

brutal, i swear like 80% of low-end survivors don't even know what ruin does or identify it from the gen sparking after letting go
anyone remotely aware of how to play the game has a switch flip in their head that says 'let go of gen if killer is imminently up your [donkey] or every potato on team is either hooked or downed'

Hopefully.
The crashes are bad enough as they always seem to happen when I'm having a great game...and then *big fart* here comes the blue screen and there goes my bloodpoints. Hateful.

Normally i support the dc penalty. Unless real life stuff happens or someone is clearly cheating i feel you shouldn't quit. But when the game itself isnt working i dont mind them disabling it until its fixed

I hope they are until these crashes get fixed.

welp guess i wont be playing survivor for a while.

yeah but I don't wanna keep getting punished for something totally out of my control.

idk maybe they should use the kill switch on the boon perks.

It's a tough problem, for sure. But to be fair, survivors will just kill themselves on hook if they want to leave the match. Having DC penalties off keeps legitimate players from getting penalties for their game crashing or leaving hacker hostage lobbies.
