How do the free Halloween skins work?
I remember some situation last year where people purchased skins in the shop and then they have the option to get them free afterwards. I want to buy the new Nea but also don't want to deal with it becoming free in the event. Does anyone know how the event works? Is it going to be like last time we earn coins and we can redeem those coins for any blighted skin? Thanks.

It's the opposite no? The release free and then you can buy them later in case you didn't unlock them

Last year it wasn't that way. I guess I'll just wait until the event starts, I wish they would just announce these things in advance.

I think it'll be like a couple of years ago. Maybe exclusive currency earned via the event tome.

Okay thanks, I didn't realize the event starts tomorrow. For some reason I thought it was the 28th which is some thing else. I can wait one more day for clarity. Hopefully they announce the details today, they said as we get closer to the event everything will be revealed. Surely the day before is close enough to outline the event details.

Don't buy any of the skins early. Last year they put out a bunch of the skins for a high price and then dropped them 90% two days after release with no warning.
And then didn't even compensate or apologize for this dick move.

My guess, since that’s all we have right now, is that the outfits unlock when the last cell of the Halloween tome is selected. Like how when the regular tome levels are completed and we get a tome specific charm and some rift fragments, we get an outfit instead.
