Stuck after cancelling generator repair

I cancelled repairing a generator (let go of my mouse button) and got stuck in place with the HUD rapidly flashing the "use med kit" help text. Once the killer hit me, I could move again, but after I got unhooked I was stuck in place again under the hook with the same HUD glitch. When I was stuck, I tried moving, crouching, tried both mouse buttons and spacebar but nothing worked - I was stuck and couldn't get unstuck. Video is attached. Any help to fix this bug is much appreciated, thanks.

    was the killer a pig with the video tape addon? if that was the case please upvote and post your image in the other post about the video tape addon bug.
