Being downed while on full health
This has happened maybe 3 or 4 times to me now, i am an xbox one player and was playing survivor. My most recent match, i was playing as Mikaela Reid and huntress was the killer, i had just healed myself with a medkit and went to a player that was on the hook, when huntress hit me i was instantly downed. Huntress is my main as a killer and i’m pretty sure she doesn’t have an ability where you can be instantly downed while in full health. I maybe wrong but just wanted to know if this was a real issue because it has happened in other matches too while i was playing as Yui Kimura and was against Micheal Myers.

i know that there has been quite a few new bugs in this update so was just wondering if this may be one

That is what exposed does. There are quite a few perks that cause it. Add ons or killer abilities.

i am fairly new at the game, i only started playing around July so don’t know all the perks yet, i might have to check if it’s used next time!

You failed to mention Iron Maiden which is a perk Huntress is more likely to run due to its interaction with her power.

This is actually a very good point. @emmap8 Had you gotten out of a locker recently before you got hit?
Edit: I just noticed in your first post that you've had it happen with Myers. Knocking you down in 1 hit is the vast majority of his power. Once he's stalked the Survivors enough, a loud musical cue plays and for the next while he can one shot down all 4 survivors on the map.

If you see a skull icon on the top rightish portion of your screen that is the exposed status effect. If it had a bright red circle that is diminishing then it is a timed effect. If it has no bright red circle but stays then it is something permanent that a perk is causing ,likely a hex perk like noed or devour hope, or some perks like rancor if you're the obsession.
