BOOK [***]: FEAR, FUTURE, AND LIGHT A COLLECTION OF LICENSED CHAPTERS FOR PROJECT MOON PART 3 / 9
Oh boy... part 3... and with it the first survivor. Never mind him though first we have a Killer to discuss.
'Kay so we've seen killers that embody an aspect of life before, Pyramid Head as our front runner for that category. The He (pronounced Hay) is the manifestation of Rest, Reincarnation and Peace in Death. The Entity provides none of that to survivors so there's a bit of a disconnect on how these two beings would interact. The Killers power is about providing a way to Mori a survivor without hurting them intentionally. This manifested in this system that has so many pitfalls for what constitutes as fair play, and his perks are not much better but nothing in the actual build is directly unfair for survivors. IF ANY of the Abnormities from these games were to get in I'd rather it be this guy over the one I'm using for the Aleph Class. See that in Part 5.
All questions relating to anything about this killer are encouraged. AMA about why his power is the way it is.
The He (ה)
Biography
Fluttering Insects swarm around this manifestation of rest and reincarnation. Long ago captured and used for its energies that kept it alive, this creature was granted an escape from imprisonment. Seeing the fog as a new life it took to it and found something it deems unacceptable. It sees the Trials as an improper ground where all the ones killed do not receive proper respects in death, it stays, and it continues killing, hoping that one day it will end.
Appearance
The He is a tall lanky figure with 5 arms and a fractal butterfly for a head. It’s dressed in what seems to be well mannered clothing like it is always prepared to attend church or a funeral. Its two back arms carry around a large, bulky coffin that depicts its face in black. In its front arms it carries two very ornately styled pistols and the fifth arm protrudes out of its chin in a reverse color scheme and holds a finger gun gesture.
Weapon and Cosmetics
Default:
Pistols Offering Condolences: a couple of pistols black and white with butterflies decorating the main slide. Don’t be fooled though they are only images created to create accurate effects of perceptions from the survivors.
Suit of Dead Butterflies: a black suit seemingly like funeral attire. The suit glows a warm light.
Flying Fractal Form: White wings forming a head-like shape.
Prestige:
Glowing Pistols: The illusory Pistols glow a dark light as if they’ve been possessed by a stronger force.
Misty Funeral Wear: The outfit has suddenly started to warp and exudes a small amount of bloody mist.
Smokey Fractal Form: The head has started to resemble the face on the coffin you carry. The Blackened form exudes a Blood-red Mist.
Mori
The He has 2 separate mori animations depending on how the mori was achieved:
- If The He performs his mori for his power: The survivor is shown falling to the ground in complete exhaustion, with The He slowly stepping up behind them. Multiple butterflies land on the survivors body as they flip over and raise their hands to block an assumed attack. Instead The He places its hand on the survivors head and the survivor collapses in a heap, dead with butterflies hovering around the body. (This Mori takes longer than a standard Mori as this is a more cinematic death)
- If The He performs his mori from other means: The He will rapidly shoot out butterflies onto the survivor. As the butterflies attach to the survivor the survivor screams loudly before they just stop and collapse dead and the butterflies return to the coffin of The He.
Stats
Height: Tall (Nemesis height)
Terror Radius: 24 meters
Lullaby: 48 meters
Speed: 4.6 m/s
Power
Main Ability: Funeral Rites
Survivors accrue a special Funeral Rites status from being hit by Special attacks. Survivors running behind The He also accrue Funeral Rites (2 charges per second, must be less than 2 meters from back).
Stunning The He, reduces the Funeral Rites meter moderately (6 charges).
Hiding in a locker reduces the Funeral Rites meter slowly (.5 c/s) If a crow attaches to a survivor the Funeral Rites meter does not decrease.
Missing a Skill Check reduces the Funeral Rites meter slightly (2 charges).
Performing a fast action reduces the Funeral Rites meter slightly (2 charges).
While on a hook accrue Funeral Rites slowly (.5 c/s).
Special Status: Funeral Rites
Each survivor has a Funeral Rites meter (75 charges) on full grant ability to kill survivors by hand. As gauge fills up, the survivor’s fov is blocked by butterflies (up to 5 degrees). Every 5th of the meter filled (15 charges), sound cue plays and the survivor’s fov shrinks. Once charged up to 80% The Survivor becomes Broken. When full, the survivor's aura is revealed to The He for 1 second every 12 seconds.
Special Attack: Kaleidoscope Shots
Tapping the Power Button, fires butterflies out of his pistols on hit, fills Funeral rites meter a little (1 charge). The He does not need to Reload. (Projectiles move at 36 m/s). The He can shoot consecutive shots by holding the Power Button after firing. Shooting consecutively too much reduces aim.
Special Attack: Waves of Lamenting Insects
Holding the Power Button from a non-firing state(2 seconds),causes The He to slam his coffin on the ground in front of itself and summon a wall of Butterflies from the coffin on its back (Wall takes up about a Pallet’s width space going forwards about 10 meters). The Wall fills it’s full distance over 5 seconds. The slamming of the coffin can catch a survivor and deal a health state of damage. If the wall hits a survivor, fills the Funeral Rites meter slightly (3 charges), the wall lingers for 20 seconds, this attack has a cool down of 12 seconds. Walking through the wall slows survivors considerably (-15% movement speed).

The Survivor associated with this is a character that dies in the canon of the game he's from but of course as always known with The Entity "Death is No Escape" Enoch was taken from his deathbed and his body never found. as for his playstyle. I cannot tell you. He is your Composed Brother not really much of one to hide but that doesn't make it hard to hide for him. He is naturally quiet and has one of the smallest builds of any survivor. The entity physically aged him as he was dragged into the fog. (this is done to prevent BHVR from having to deal with worries of Children being put into dangerous situations as in canon Enoch dies at the age of 10).
Enoch:
Biography:
Enoch spent all his life in the Backstreets, the slums of The City, living in fear for his and his sister, Lisa’s, lives. That was until Carmen. Carmen invited the two Orphans to work for her. Enoch taking the lead accepted this proposal. Each day in the lab is filled with horrors and wonders, working with the Abnormalities and gathering energy from their existence. One day a horrible accident happens in the middle of an experiment, Enoch not willing to give up on getting the results stays working with the monstrosity. Enoch is severely wounded, almost succumbing to it before an unnatural eerie fog rolls in and takes him away.
Perks:
Lucky to Live
Survival is not always a guarantee.
After being unhooked by any means after another survivor has died in the trial this perk activates for 30 seconds:
Press the action key to use a special healing action on yourself or another survivor. You can use this action while dying but only on yourself. When used while in the dying state, Health State Increases happen in 7 second intervals.
When the action is used on yourself you see the killer's aura for 2/3/4 seconds and are healed to the healthy state.
When the action is used on another survivor they see the killer's aura for 4/6/8 seconds and are healed 1 health state after 7 seconds.
Increases the odds of being the Obsession.
The Killer can only be obsessed with one Survivor at a time.
“We were only able to live on thanks to an unexpected turn of events.” - Enoch

Each token grants a 25 % bonus Bloodpoints for actions in the Boldness Category.

Reminder that Part 9 is an Aesthetic list of things like small details as well as a Q&A for some if the FAQs. If you have a relevant critique or question feel free to post it in the comments and if I don't respond I found it important enough for its own post in Part 9.

Change because my QA found it to be unfair:
Calm Demeanor now provides an 8% speed boost instead of 10%
The perk also Deactivates if the survivor becomes injured.
