If survivors can't sabotage event hooks, killers shouldn't be able to regress event generators
Title, I've encountered numerous killers just protecting event gens without trying to win, just deny them from being completed.
Killers get protection from survivors doing this to tehm with hooks, why don't survivors get the same protection.

So you get more points, if killer regress it?
I might be wrong and you have to finish that gen tho...
So if he just stands there, nothing would change. It's not about regression.

should make it so all the gens look like event gens to killers and all the hooks look like event hooks for survivors

Nope, you get 3000 points (that ignore the point cap) for completing it, not for working on it.

Honestly since sabo isn't permanent and it's much easier to play around sabo plays as killer. I wouldn't be opposed to allowing survivors to sabo event hooks.
I also don't like that killers can see event gen aura as a different color. Played a few games of killer and it was just extra noise that I didn't need.

Huh? They can't sabotage event hooks? I had one where the hook was missing without anyone being dead. Does that break hooks perk not count? Maybe they were running that?

If Killers couldn't regress event gens, Survivors would just bring as many event offerings as they can so they can get an easy escape.

Haha are you kidding? Stopping survivors saboutaging doesn't prevent them doing their objective, maxing points etc. It just removes one tiny aspect of the game on certain hooks so they can't intentionally ruin the event for killers.
Preventing gen regression on up to 6 of the 7 generators is literally just handing survivors a four man escape every match.

Sabotage DOES prevent the killer from doing their objective though. The killers objective is not to protect generators its to kill survivors, sabotage prevents that.
People thinking gens are the objective of the killer is source of all toxicity in this game, if you play like gens are your objective as killer you are boring and people do not want to play against you.
