Event feels like an event
Thank you very much. Two free skins and new looking gens and some pumpkins to kick. Not a sarcastic post either genuinely happy with it.

I think I like the event too. Especially the event tome. It looks nice and it's good that we have a way to earn cosmetics

I do wish the gens were more showy, I can hardly tell them apart at first glance as a survivor. And of course it reveals that it's an event gen to the killer who knows why. Other than that, it's pretty decent.

I like compared to past events but I still feel like it's missing more BP's

I'd like it if it was like the Lunar New Year where all gens/hooks were event ones, everyone got points for gens being completed so someone in chase would get points and people would go save someone instead of staying on their gen to finish it for the points, and the offering increased BP. If they did that I'd like the event.

The costumes are great, and even though I can't quite figure out how to use the Blight rush, it's cool that it's in there. It feels Halloweeny.

For bhvr standards its pretty good. Still i would love it if all the maps would have some more Halloween decoration. Like the game is generated from tiles. you could easily put some decoration pumpkins on a loop, like its not much work but its bhvr, i guess.

I like it too! Loved the new loading screen and I'm enjoying smashing pumpkins even if they don't do anything.

I got a down earlier by smashing the treat Pumpkin, it made me as fast as Keemstar for just long enough to catch them before they made it to Shack.

I am all in for this. We get a nice new tome to work with and some good free stuff. Pumpkins to kick and offerings to make. 13 days is quit fitting as well and by the way, even if it is unrelated...holy moly that Hillybilly skin buyable with shards. Makes me almost want to play Billy just to use it.
I ha quit some fun yesterday as a survivor trying to do the challenges from the tome to unlock the first witch cosmetics and later had a blast playing Killer with the blighted serum. Rushing at high speed is fun especialy with Killers who are not able to do this normaly.

I just don't understand why we don't get bloodpoint items in the bloodweb like in the anniversary. The 1k from doing an event objective is kind of sus, not going to lie.

This event is a step up from last year's.
I'm really enjoying the pumpkin smashing and love the cosmetics in the Halloween tome. I also love the new look of the event gens and hooks.

It's still lackluster, especially when they indicated a significant focus on just two annual events. Decorated gens and hooks are a given; nothing new here. The Tome was simple to put together but an excellent addition. I want to see map overlays like other games. They can take existing maps and add holiday-themed decorations to them. The loading screen is fantastic; I would love for them to update the standard loading screen. I hope that the "exclusive" cosmetics on the Halloween Tome are exclusive and never return. It's nice to see items commemorate a special event and a "you had to be there" moment. However, I'm sure the devs will recycle everything in 2022 because they are afraid of players "missing out" on vanity items. Still, the devs managed to reconcile that view with a few people who have exclusive Twitch cosmetics.

I've tanked my mmr by memeing around and doing event stuff and letting survivors do their event stuff too. First Halloween event for me in DBD and I find it slightly hilarious when hag/nurse do a little Blight bounce. Plus I love the Will-o-wisp on survivors.
