Pop Goes the Weasel too oppressive
Simple fix: Pop Goes the Weasel can no longer be used on the same gen twice in a row within 40 seconds.

Otherwise, give the perk a cooldown or change it to a Hex perk.

Nah.

You need to hook a survivor first for it to work and it only works for 45 seconds.
It's not that powerful of a perk, but it is very consistent. That's why people run it.

Even better: HEX: Pop Goes the Weasel

The perk has essentially 2 cooldowns:
Has to hook a Survivor to be active which can range from several seconds to 1-2 minutes
Only works on a Gen not currently regressing.
If you decided to Gen tap a gen that was popped while seeing another person in about to be picked up due to slugging, idk what to tell you.

Pop goes the weasel is balanced, however they should change it back to 60 seconds because nobody asked for that change.

I'm guessing this is bait.

Wait til you see Oppression.

If it's being used twice within 40 seconds on the same generator, the survivors in question are showing they lack awareness. Pop isn't oppressive, they're just bad.

60 seconds is a pretty crazy amount of time to be carrying that power around. 45 seconds is perfect, forces use while also not being required to immediately utilize it.

I am concerned

well, it lives up to its name

20 seconds of regression is too much? Really?

Sure do! Not aware of any maps that a given gen is further than a 45-second travel from a hook for any killer.

You couldn’t get to a gen in 45 seconds? It’s not a perk you need to use every time it’s available. Just a handy, optional reward for a hook.

This perk is not consistent at all, I don't know how many games now where I've used pop instead of ruin because I find how fast ruin breaks to be obnoxious and not once have I gotten significant value out of pop. Either the only worthwhile gen pops in your face, or 45 seconds is up by the time you find a gen worth damaging.

It's consistent because of the fact that you always have it on hand after hooking a survivor.
Ruin can pop within 10 seconds or 10minutes of a match.

Pop is boring, but not OP. If you're serious about winning matches, get good at looping and slam gens before the snowball effect.
What amazes me is the little amount of people complaining about Ruin when its the most used and crutchy perk in the game.

Just run repressed alliance

Although in the beginning and mid game it doesn't quite seem to give massive value, pop will always provide the most value towards endgame. Being able to regress a gen back a meaningful amount can't really compare to most other gen perks as slowing down repair speed doesn't matter at all when it's 99% percent.
As per the argument at hand, it's the survivors fault for touching the gen, getting downed and hooked again so now the killer can regress the gen by a full 50% worth.
Also what on earth kind of cooldown would account for hooking a survivor? I doubt I'd use pop 4 times in the span 45 - 60 seconds, better yet actually find a gen to regress.

even if you consider all four survivors to be the equivalent of the one killer (i.e. average out all their perks)
dead hard is still more common than ruin and is far more crutchy
this ain't 2019 with pubber-punting 'great skillchecks only plx' ruin

No, Pop if fair. It rewards Killer's for doing well
