Does Calm Spirit need a change?
Calm Spirit is one of the most situational perks in the game, however when in that situation, it's quite oppressive against The Doctor's biggest strength - his great tracking. Doctor does have a way to circumvent Calm Spirit but it's not always going to be available.
By the way I'm going to be doing these kinds of polls a lot to just generally get a large amount of ideas that we, the community have thought of for some of the more underpowered perks in the game.
Would you buff Calm Spirit or Rework it in some way? If so, how?

Maybe have it reduce breathing noise? To be honest, I don't really know how I'd buff it.

Rework it (Specify how)
Id maybe include things like decreased gains from effects like doctors insanity etc.
Monstrous shrine and no mother need looked at the most imo

It needs a buff, it can't be good only be good to counter infectious fright and doctor basically
Crows aren't so powerful either

Calm Spirit works exactly as intended now. It is a solid, general purpose Perk which is never wasted because you always get at least a little something out of it. If anything the Perk (as it is now) sets a benchmark for utility that I wish all Perks would attain.

Maybe this
- Your aura will not be shown to the killer if you are within 4 meters of a crow
or
- Whenever a survivor disturbs a crow, their aura will be revealed to you for 3 seconds and stacks each time

I think the perk does its job well. Crows help me a lot when playing killer and if more people used it I'd lose a very good tracking tool.
The biggest problem of this perk is that it affects killers who use crows as a valuable source of information, but in my experience they are few.
Probably this perk could be more useful in a tournament, where the chances the killer looks for crows are higher.

Give it a tertiary effect in line with being calm, like a slight exhaustion recovery bonus.

It works. It might be situational and completely useless against most killers but it isn't flawed in any way.
I'd maybe add falling voice removal to it though, so it would come to play even when the killer is not doctor or running infectous.

Maybe it also allows you to ignore radius effects. IE like Coulrophobia, Unnerving Presence etc etc.

Whatever noise gets blocked by iron will, calm spirit should block the rest.

It shouldn't work on Doc's power, period.
Perks that make survs harder to track are a always pain in the ass.

The perk does it's job well enough. In fact it's been slowly getting buffed with the additions of perks that make survivors screams.
Doc can bring the restraint addon to counter Calm Spirit as it shows the survivor's aura when they madness tier up. It's really not an issue.

Combine it with Iron Will.

I suggested a little bit ago (here) to also slow down killer instincts heart beat or pulse, so your position can be mind game-able. This would do two main things.
•1. Make killers think you are further away, but this can be countered if killers remember the placement of torment trails for phead or their placement of victor or demo's portals.
•2. It Would make killers play a mind game of cutting off the survivor's trajectory or doubling back since the pulse would leave a few seconds of guess work to the direction of the survivor. In cases like proximity killer instinct it might not even trigger more than once or twice as the survivor quickly runs across the trigger zones.
This would give calm spirit a minor interaction with a quarter of the cast as a whole but also future interactions since it would cover 3 means of detection. I don't think it should negate killer instinct when walking or crouching like people suggested in my earlier thread because that will just encourage immersive play styles. The interaction with Killer instinct would play into the flavor of calm spirit since the Killer cant detect their heart beat or their sense of their "terror", since feral frenzy(first use of killer instinct) on legion only triggers killer instinct if a healthy survivor is in their terror radius.

I think it could be either a buff to make it Spies from the Shadows for survivor. But with a cooldown of 30 sec not 12 and working for both other survivors and killer, so that if you don't have Bond or Empathy you cannot know if it's the Killer or a survivor around you.
OR
Buff by making it affect other survivors around you (16m) Crows would trust you enough to trust that anyone coming with you is a friend and so their friend.

I think it should notify you when the killer disturbs a crow every 10 seconds and it should reduce breathing So it could counter stridor

make killer instinct effect less powerful and each pulse is more delayed, make nemesis zombies not get alerted unless ur really close, if a survivor disturbs a crow the aura of both you and the survivor are shown for 3 seconds (20 second cool down) if a killer disturbs a crow within 25 meter radius you get a noise notification (30 second cooldown)
