I got RPD 4 times in a span of 5 matches
And I want to blow my brains out. This map is awful and playing on it this many times makes me go insane. Why did you make this abomination of a map BHVR? It clearly doesn’t belong in DBD at all because everyone just DCs from it.

The 90% of the times I play in RPD is because someone used the offering.

It is alright, I prefer being there to MacMillan or Autohaven which is more than every other match on a night where I am actually getting variety.

i usually get map offering'd to rpd ye
and then the survivors spawn split between both sides of the map and know to hold m1 until they physically see me so no @ 3-gen

I'm sorry, so so sorry. That map is absolutely garbage I feel for you.
If it makes you feel any better I got to play dead dog saloon even though it's offering is disabled so their is hope you can play a fun map of you try long enough

I love Resident Evil and I love Dead by Daylight, but the I hate the RPD map in DBD. The map is too big and makes for a miserable experience on both sides. As survivor, you can't find gens and most of the pallets are worthless. As killer, you can't find survivors and pressuring gens is nigh impossible with the map's byzantine layout. It needs to be repurposed to fit DBD's gameplay rather than being a faithful recreation that ignores everything that makes a map fun and enjoyable in DBD.

I do. I played it a few days ago and playing on RPD in that game is enjoyable.

I’ve played on it plenty of times, and one of two things is bound to happen (or both):
- Survivors being left to struggle phase or even to die first hook (even with Kindred in play)
- Killers camping one side of the map, or a hook in a hallway that prevents a rescue
Unless you’re a coordinated SWF, it’s a solo nightmare. And maybe even for SWF. And there are more issues than just these that I’m not listing in this comment, but those are the big two.

Ok so now that I actually played the map more then a few times I can finally agree that this map is indeed terrible. Totems are a pain, finding gens a pain, remembering the layout is a pain, some killers just suck on the map, it's ridiculously large, there's a lot of god pallets, it's impossible to defend both gates, I seriously am confused how this map was released like this.

disagree. if you know the stairs and drops, you can get to any hook in about 30 seconds. knowing the map is key, like anything other area in this game.
if a killer camps on THIS map, then the other 3 should be able to get away. it comes down to whether or not the middle room gen(s) were completed.
