Trickster recoil on console

I've noticed that Trickster has more recoil when throwing knives on console then he does on PC, am I going crazy or is it not just me?

    It's definitely bad.

Side note- I hate how the recoil goes up, if you're throwing something you should gradually be throwing lower and lower, right?

I don't get how you get recoil from throwing, especially if it's your job/trick. I get it if the knives go lower or don't go as far as your muscles get tired but not like Deathslinger firing his gun where your body jerks up (which has less recoil)...

When throwing knifes have more recoil than shooting an arpoon.Holy molly how many gunpodwer you would need to throw that at that speed lol DS goes at 110% cuz he use a cannon not a rifle thingy

It's not you. I have been playing him pretty constant the last month. I have always felt he was dog ######### on console but he is actually decent. Takes getting use to ofc but he is strong still. There are still a chase here or there where the knives refuse to hit the survivor even if they are right in front of me but strafing usually get me the down.

They really need to make his main event activate when needed. I get it most times right after a down with no one around. Also the best game I had with him I got 2 main events majority I get it once so no need for the restriction.

Yeah, I agree. Bloom alone makes more sense than recoil and would make him much nicer to play.

I just wonder why someone throwing knives would have a recoil. It's not a machine gun.

Honestly if we ignore the fact hes 110 and takes multiple hits to down we have to deal with huge recoil going up and the sway going opposite directions each blade, doing this while looping tight objects and on a controller is stupid.

Having higher sensitivity helps but not by much. Main reason hes the only killer I refuse to play. I can aim with deathslinger and huntress but him... yeah no hes left on the bench.

The recoil isn't any different, it's just 10x harder to control with a thumbstick than a mouse. So he's pretty much stuck at bottom tier on console until they either remove the recoil or give console players more settings to adjust like @Bloodshade has been suggesting.

Tip: Whenever I do play Trickster, I try to only throw one or two knives at a time because there's no recoil when you do that. It's slower, but more consistent DPS and less wasted blades which means less reloading.

I mentioned this on another thread, but I have not cared about my MMR since it launched. I just focus on having fun rather than trying to win every game. If I lose, I know my matches will get easier. If the team is really bad, I usually let one or two escape so my MMR doesn't go too high. Not necessarily to derank, but just to keep my MMR from going too high or low so I don't have to sweat every game. Just my philosophy on it.

If the camera controls on console weren't so sluggish and restricting, the recoil wouldn't be so aggravating.

No sweat, I completely understand. Most of the killers that are both fun and viable require control, precision, and framerate that isn't realistic for console. So we're stuck with watered down versions of killers that we know can't compete at the same level as their PC iterations. And until they introduce cross progression, we have too much sunk cost into the console version to start over. Sound about right?
