why is BHVR ignoring my insult report
A week ago I had a game, I was trying to get adept for a trapper. I was able to kill one player, and one left the game altogether. At the end of the game, he wrote a lot of insults for no reason, he also mentioned my nationality. It doesn't matter, I just wanted to know if they were being punished for it, wrote a report and sent a video.
Already a week has passed, there is only one viewing on the video and it's mine. BHVR did not respond to my report. It's strange because when I write about bugs, they immediately respond and ask to take a survey about the quality of service.
My friends and I have never noticed that someone is punished for insults and toxicity of players in the game chat, do you think it makes sense to write these complaints at all? Why does BHVR dont care?

DBD support also has ALOT of reports to go through daily, probably because the horde of cheaters dbd is infested with, but it'll eventually be seen and responded to, just give it time

Your best if they are on sony is to report to sony, sony does not take those thing well and immediately will ban that player, however idk how it works for the pc player side if your pc,

Attempting to read the chat on my small phone screen. I say these "insults" won't result in a punishment.

Yeah I have my chats perm off on ps5 since ps4 days so only friends message me, at that point the angry person attempting to throw insults will be more angry cause your pms are off lol.

And also the hoards of survivors false reporting me for face camping them. It is lot to go through for just me alone!

I was on Xbox and a SWF invited me to a party and they were insulting me and I reported the one who did and 2 days later Xbox sent me a message saying they were banned

xbox handled your report, not BHVR, that's why

I'm sorry you had to deal with that. The ACMs do receive a great deal of reports on a daily basis, and go through and review them as soon as they can. But to answer your question, yes, people are indeed punished for Communications Abuse (which can range up to a permanent ban, as noted here: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/kb/articles/141-game-ban-escalation ). There is no exact response time I can give you, but they will respond to you as soon as possible; but I wish to add, please avoid sending multiple support tickets, as it will bump you back at the end of the queue.

Interesting, i have sent several of people telling me to die, they are going to find out where I live and burn my house down etc. never have received a response from anyone and this was about a year ago. I just stopped reporting abuse because it never seems to help.

They say they look at report but i dont think they do. I say that because of a personal experience 2 years ago they may have change but i cant believe they did. I had a better luck with a steam report for ingame insult compare to bhrv

The thing is, this sort of stuff is GOING to happen, but what can they do to reallhy punish? people can get around manhy things, come back as new people etc, my advice is ignore it, and yeah these people are asshats doing it but really, this will happen, nothing will help it, it will keep coming back. Ignore people, put people on ignore, just no matter what, I mean what is a punishment on here? it will happen no matter what no matter the worst insult best thing to do really is just ignore it, are you going to care about that idiot in the next 5 mins? no. :)

I appeared offline to anyone who isn't friend plus my chats is turn off on my console as well. Don't got time to hear someone whine about a game.
