Does masking Devour Hope and moring show that you have the perk?
if you have devour hope on and you only special attack so it hides your devour, if you mori will it tell them you have it? as in the lil notification coming up

I believe you can know when it is a mori because the 5th coin dont flip and shows a pale bronze? For devour after a survivor gets hooked whether is a few times its the same or muliple survivor, you will get exposed as soon as someone gets downed and it will stay on until you cleanse it and yes it pops on the screen when it activates. Compare to noed though it seem rarely used, I respect devour hope over noed because devour hope show clearly the killer is working hard and doing what needs to be done vs a killer who got 5 gens rushed then downs everyone with noed for a 4k they didnt work hard for .

I don't know that it actually shows the "cursed" prompt, but it's fair to assume survivors could figure out that you have Devour if you mori someone and didn't bring in a Mori offering.

The survivor may not get the exposed effect popup but the Hex notification would.

I respect that look at it. For the record I don't run Noed but at the same time don't see the issue.
So your logic is a killer didn't deserve it because they got gen rushed. Why not? A monkey can repair a gen so what makes them feel they deserve to walk out the gates? These giant safe maps mixed with survivors spreading out to hold a button/key can equal 5 gens pretty quick.
So if a killer has no kills when the 5th gen pops but then manages to kill all four of you that is not working hard? The objectives given to each side are far from equal so a 4k is a 4k....BP being the only differences between them.

exactly its a crutch perk compared to devour hope that surely show the killer is a good one and know what they are doing, however I will say now if at least with noed the killer had killed or hooked a good amount of times before no noed is cool with me. the one that got none because they could not catch no one the whole game and gets those down is the problem, my issue with no ed is a bad killer that 4kscore for no reason, not really the ones who at least made some type of effort to down and hook people. Anyways not like its an issue since with swf me and friends bum rush totems over gens. In a random queue its a nightmare because you know solos 95% of the time dont do totems even with mikaela cool beans perks.

No, it won't. Only on your next basic attack after three or more tokens does Devour Hope reveal itself.

Special attacks still reveal exposed status so no they will know as soon as you injure someone with anything on 3 tokens. It was changed recently and most people don't know about it.

The only thing that hides Devour are grabs. It was actually fun to mori survivors doing silent Spirit.

It was quite a while ago, I think it is that way for at least a few months now. At least I can't remember when it wasn't like this.
