how to play as a Hillbilly?
Hello everyone.
Give advice when playing for Hillbilly, otherwise most of my games end with a maximum of 1k. At high ranks, his chainsaw does not help, either it cannot be used in loops, or the survivors just constantly dodge and I crash. In addition, the killer's speed is low and in the loops I spend a lot of time chasing because for which all generators start up very quickly. Most of the games for him, even with strong adons, are disappointing, I can't play for him although I've been playing for a long time.
When I use his ability, I get the feeling that the developers do not want me to use m2, because it is absolutely inconvenient and impossible to use and in most cases is useless.

Use saw for mobility and m1 everyone. Better choice just play Blight

You hold M2 until it kills something.

Yeah, you're pretty much on the mark. Billy used to have a very high killrate and BHVR didn't like that, especially since he's free. Also, the lead balance dev has said that he really dislikes Billy multiple times, and given how Huntress Lullaby got changed I find it hard to believe that didn't have an impact on how badly Billy got nerfed.
If you want to play a killer with fantastic mobility, high skill ceiling and a strong chase power, play Blight. If you want a killer with great snowball potential, instadowns and mobility play Oni. If you want a killer with a powerful, dangerous instadown play Bubba. There's really no solid reason to play Billy anymore from a strength perspective.

The only correct advice is not to play for him? It is sad.

Check out the Hillbilly guide by Sofareks on youtube. A lot of good information about how and when to use the saw, what tiles you should and shouldn't use it at, etc.

Have a real hillbilly watching furiously play a banjo as you start using your chainsaw, the plucking of the strings will give you the power you need to rush down everyone.

Also, take a break If you start hearing pig squeals.

If you find him fun, by all means keep playing him. He's not super bad - he's got good mobility and has an instadown, even if landing it against smart survivors is extremely difficult. But if we're talking about his strength, he is completely obsolete and doesn't do anything unique or better than other killers. He's also got a very poor selection of add-ons. Generally on the weaker end of killers; I'd say he's about mid-high C tier with Freddy and Engineer's Fang-less Pinhead.
Combine that with his various frustration mechanics, like the Overheat, his annoying roar every time you start chainsaw sprinting and poor/ear grating sound design, janky animations, difficulty to play, the fact that he is so easy to counter in comparison to how difficult he is to play, and you start to see why nobody plays him.

You have to reverse chainsaw Quentin in a corner

Sad, he used to have some of the best addons.

I will forever miss the chainsaw cooldown add-ons. They made him feel so fluid to play, and weren't even too strong. Don't know why they got removed - even charge time add-ons came back, but clearly cooldown was just too OP.

I had a lot of admiration for some Billy players. When I tried him, I felt like I was trying to push a fridge in a shopping trolley. And then I'd play some games where the Billy players were taking corners like a formula one car, it was beautiful some of the shots they could make. I had taken a break when he got messed with, and just like nurse, he's one of my faves to verse who i just don't see anymore. :(

Basically play as an M1 killer with mobility on open maps, use your chainsaw to down in open areas. Curving even as a skilled Billy is not possible on the majority of tiles IF survivors know how to move optimally.

With enough practice, his chainsaw can be good at loops if you know the predictions and how to curve around corners quickly without crashing into stuff (except the survivor, of course.)
