DC RUINS THE GAME!
This is what happens every single time I try being the killer! It makes the game totally irritating and unplayable! There should be more penalties for this its not fair to anyone. Before you even start the argument "oh if I'm not having fun I should have to play" if that's the case don't play a game where the main objective is for a killer to KILL survivors!!!

The chances of that happening every single game are slim to none. It happened. Move on to the next game and forget about it

Some have said the disconnection penalty is back on now, so they'll be getting theirs.
I wouldn't know since I don't dc, but yeah it's very clear that the vast majority of people who have these hissy fits ruin it.
There is an extremely minor number of dc'ers who disconnect for legitimate reasons (emergencies and such), but to them 5 mins wouldn't affect them because they're having an emergency. But that is a severe minority of players.

I know it's just anecdotal but most games I get a DC in are when I am hard tunneling a survivor right off the bat... I know I can't say much by just your screen shot alone cause that's no evidence to go off of.
Due to the DC penalty most survivors that want to give up will let go on hook, attempt to farm, or go afk.
Unless Starstruck is just unbearable to some players but only one brought a flashlight and that tool box isn't equipped for sabo plays.

There were talks of a survivor 'Husk' being left behind on a DC so killers can still get whatever stacks/hooks and survivors heal/unhook points, but it never materialized.

It depends.
With the DC penalty on, it happens maybe once every 10-20 games. I never tunnel intentionally unless it's someone that teabags or flicks me, in which case - yeah, you go ahead and DC because I'm going to kill you.
It generally happens when someone is already dead and I hook the next person, or occasionally when I first down or hook someone.
When it's off, I see it every single game.
The DC penalty is back, and some survivors don't seem to realize this yet. The joke is firmly on them.

I don't tunnel I don't camp because I know how that feels as a survivor. The screenshot above all I did was injure them and moved on to the next and all the DC happened within a 5 minute period.

There can be reasons too sometimes it can be the map, sometimes its a person seeing another fallen down in 10 seconds cause it, or yes this one sound very petty but its also the killer your using and its not really on you, Some people do not like certain killers or maps and will either dc or afk or kamikaze on first hook. Not to throw him out like that but I see this mostly on bubbas who got someone down in 10 sec with chain saw because they did not manage to be in a situation to be near something to block that chainsaw.

I really don't see the point of disconnecting. You basically wasted all of your time in that match, lose all points, progress towards challenges/iridescent shards/the rift, and screw over the 4 remaining players.

I am shock killers do not get happy if a survivor dc, I had 2 jakes dc on me with tricky who I barely just pick up and no way in heck it bothered me if anything I just allowed claudi and lauri to farm and escape and everyone wins. As I mention above there is reasons for why people do it even though yes they are petty reasons on survivor side, also killers will dc too if getting stomp hard both are equally wrong. You saw my vid on that trapper? I was not toxic no clicky clicky , had a dry basic brown tool box , joke perks am sure your wondering why am I even using theose perks in my kit and he dced after I mind game him from being caught by his trap idea

Killers are the only ones who ever complain about DC, because killers wish to see solo survivors suffer in pain unable to leave this hell called "soloQ". Some killers get their sadistic fun out of witnessing all this suffering, so they feel dissatisfied when survivors are able to leave painlessly.

What? I'm playing survivor, and I hate when survivors DC. It's frustrating as hell to be damned to a horrible match because someone didn't like being the first survivor found.

So just get on hook, ######### and move to the next game. Or if you don't want to do that, have fun with the killer, practice looping. try to learn the best places.
The only reasons to DC is internet / PC problems, emergency or ........ no, no other reason.

Before you shoot your mouth off please learn how to read. Apparently you fail to see where I say I do not dc because IMO it is pointless. You do not have the authority to tell anyone what makes them happy or assume what can be going on in a persons RL for that matter. If they dc and it makes you mad oh well suck it up buttercup.
Not everyone wanna play a game full of potatoes + toxic killers/survivors. Also for the 3 or 2 remaining survivors why not then all of you just farm each other at that point ? Such a easy solution. Pinched a nerve or something? I even state I was making the claudio and lauri farm when the 2 jakes I caught both dced when I first hook em and having a blast with it. Also stop making it seem as if killers do not dc too, check that vid of mine of how the killer DC because of being outplayed.
Both killers and survivors are so hypocritical, but its no surprise when it comes to PVP orientated games vs PVE ones. But those who let someone DC get to them to me are the ones who should more check themselves. If someone dc on me oh well it dont hurt my ego heck I enjoy the random queue with a bill who kamikaze and cladio that dc, Its a miracle how me and nea ( I was not even using leon my main and using quint with bad perks) we both was able to do all totems, all gens with tons of struggle but we made it work.

So what you are saying is you are allowed to spoil the game for five other people. You think that is OK, a game that the five other people have paid for and spent the time to play. They may not be good and I am sure that you was not at one time, although if you say you DC, it may be that you are the weakest link.
New players have to learn and all they learn from idiots like you is not to try. If you are getting put with potatoes and toxic players, then maybe you are in the low ranks, where new players start and new killers camp and tunnel, because that is what they do before they learn. New survivors get caught easily, they do not know the maps, they do not know how to run loops and they look to other players to help them learn.
If you want to be a potato yourself then go and play something else and leave the adults to play the game.

I agree that some people want a normal game. The problem is worse at the moment because people are too busy waiting for the save, smashing pumpkins, looking for totems. The solution if you are left trying to do gens while people do other things, and you get caught, is to just ######### on hook. At least you get BP, the killer who could be innocent in the game gets the BP, you get no DC penalty and the rest of the team probably ends up not doing the challenges.
As I said, there is no good reason to DC, there are other ways to get out of a game. People DC when gens are being done, even when it is down to the last gen and somebody is about to get hooked, they DC. This is not because of bad players, this is rage quitting, DCing because they have been beat. It is another form of toxicity on this game that needs to be stopped.

Fyi am in red ranks, but since your so uneducated, apparently you seem to not know you still can get match up with low ranks as a high rank. Sorry you must have never ever read where I say I think dcing is is pointless IMO.Oh let guess by the way your acting ah the noed user who gets 5 gen loop and cries like child, take your own words and play another game if someone who dc makes you angry. You may wanna check your mental state, or if you had a brain you just be a smart killer and let the ones who didnt dc just farm and mess around. For me any survivor or killer who DC is actually funny not make me blow up like you apparently are. Do not call people names when they dont call you one in the first place.
