Fun Fact, they react to loud noise notifications. So perks that cause those + the detection range add ons gets your zombies into useful positions much more often.

He is objectively better than an M1 Killer, what are you going on about? I've played him since release and if you know how to play him he's easily an A tier Killer. His whip leaves little room for counterplay other than holding W and his zombies can help him with map pressure if they don't get stuck on things.

The tentacle is really not that bad and Nemesis is far from worse than pure M1.
Zombie AI on the other hand just need improvement/fixes to make them actually work as intended.

Its because he need 3 hit to down someone and that is if you commit to the chase. Nemesis is just an inferior pyramid head in every aspect

Tentacle is situational, doesn't need to be used all the time. T2 breaking pallets or hitting survivor plus reach lowering chase time on infected is great.
I run the perk that makes it only two hits to get T2 and the one that removes one vaccine, then a couple notification perks and gtg.

I would argue that more zombie speed would make them kinda worse.
I've faced so many Nemmys at this point, and when he doesn't have speed, they are SO difficult to kite away from gens. A nemmy having the ribbon or eye makes that process so much easier and gives me more time to work on gens. Zombie speed has almost never gotten me hit in chases or out in the map.

Power tier up can be a huge time sink vs good survivors. 3 hits on healthy survivors can be damaging even against average players.

I like Nemesis as he is but he certainly has his limitations in certain areas and situations. My youngest saw him and said he looks like chewed gum in a trash bag.

I don't understand the 3 hit argument. You can just do hit & run Nemesis by contaminating them and then leaving them. If they use the vaccine then they wasted their time and that's progress to becoming more oppressive because there are only 4 vaccines on the map that are one-time use. If not, then that just makes it easier for you

If they use the vaccine the survivor waste 2 sec its nothing and he is safe again and by the time all the vaccine are use most of the time 1 or 2 gen are left. Ofc we always have the ideal scenario were the survivor dont hold w when you are coming and zombie are always arassing a gen in those case nemesis is strong but otherwise he his a downgrade version of pyramid head and a succesful cash grab becaus eits resident evil

I do agree he could do with some small QoL changes and fixes, mostly the zombies being eather totally useless or give you a lot of free hits, they should be more consistent, but that aside nemesis its a very solid and reliable killer

Not like survivors bring items or anything to discourage them from picking up the vaccine yet. Picking it up at the start of the trial is still using your time.

This wastes a lot of time Nemesis doesn't have. The amount of time you lose in that chase is greater than the amount of time they spend injecting the vaccine.

Keep in mind that this is the same guy that demanded that BHVR not fix the bugged boon totems/maps, because something something hexes OP a few years ago.
He's none of those things.
- He's a standard movespeed killer.
- His entire kit revolves around a tricky to hit close-range skillshot and a pair of borderline useless zombies.
- He's essentially an inferior version of Pyramid Head.

Nah I'd argue that Nemesis is a pretty solid B tier. His tentacle hitbox is pretty deceptive and once you learn how it works you can do really tricky shots with it, tier II makes him the best pallet eater in the game, tier III gives him free zoning capabilities. His only real downside is the speed boost on contamination and the zombie AI. The zombies really need fixing but you can live with the free speed boost once you get really good at landing tentacle whips.

This, if you consider STBFL and balance his Power and Fist usage for when its actually needed AND know what you can hit over at low loops you can get massive value.
Nemisis > Brutal+FireUp+Enduring+Spirit Fury

Zombies also provide passive intel, since they raise their arms when they're chasing someone. This gives you a general clue on survivor whereabouts, and it can be really valuable.

He really isn't. He is one of the better killers in the game. That is not saying much, but still, most killers have it way worse than the wittle tentacle boi.

Nemesis is incredibly strong. Like Huntress, everything that should give survivors security instead gives him a hit, windows and pallets are both deathtraps.
On top of that, for the amount people complain about the zombies, they give mapwide information on where survivors are nearly constantly, and they pressure survivors off gens and away from unhooks with absolutely zero effort on the killer's behalf. I think people expect that the zombies should be smacking and downing survivors every 10 seconds, but that's honestly just a punishment for survivor mistakes the same way Pig traps slow the game down and aren't really intended to kill even though they can.

He's in the middle of the pack, nowhere near the bottom.
His tentacle makes safe spaces unsafe but the hitboxes are way too unforgiving. I'm not sure if it's to encourage the drag tech or to make sure new Survivors don't throw a fit and leave or what but they need fixing. I've had instances where my tentacle touches the Survivor but because they weren't directly in the center it didn't count. On a game at Haddonfield, I saw the tentacle physically touch the standing (not crouched) Survivor but for some reason the game didn't register it and decided to hit the bench instead. That's just bad game design right there.
The zombies can give you info and stop a gen long enough for you to defend it, but their AI is horrific. If their AI really was one of the major reasons that last gen console performance was so bad when Nemesis released, then the devs either need to figure out how to optimize last gen consoles or consider more drastic options. They might have just nerfed a Killer because older consoles were struggling to run the game, which really sucks.
The lack of movement speed options can really hurt as he has to run at 115% everywhere he goes. He can't zoom over to a gen halfway across the map to stop it from getting done or quickly intercept an unhook.

But you have to contaminate the survivors first, THEN you can damage them, and just the contamination that doesn't even deal damage gives a sprint burst. He can get through pallets pretty quickly but that only happens if the survivors aren't mindgaming them at all, and even when they do throw all their pallets away they've probably done all the gens by then because of his bad 1v4. His zombies are inconsistent at best, and he has to rely on add-ons to level up in a reasonable amount of time. And the survivors have free vaccines to use whenever, so that he has to contaminate them again just to damage them with the whip. I like playing as him, but he just can't compete.

That's only if you hit a survivor once and then abandon chase. If you commit to it, the rest of the chase is really difficult for the survivor since vaults and pallets don't offer the safety they should.

It's funny seeing Otzdarvas recent killer tier list having Nemesis in the exact middle because that is where I put him the day before making my own list. He is decent but could have games where the zombies do a lot for him and games where they are stuck and useless.

I'm done with buying dlc in this game because of him. I waited him, made him 3-50 with all perks, got 100 Sacrificial Cakes. And now I have to play a hundred matches on a invalid.
It takes too long time. 2 speed boosts make chase too long, survivor will run a huge distance. This is guaranteed to allow to reach a strong loop and by the time of first hook, you will lose 3 gens or 1-2 gens and all totems. The illusion of his strength can only arise with weak and sometimes average survivors. But only until you meet those who just know how to hold M1 and Shift + W. He becomes average only on closed maps, because of zombies.

If you use it point-blank, yes. But if a survivor drops a pallet and you smack him with the tentacle over it, you're gaining pressure on him when otherwise you would've lost it. Don't go for the hits you can make with M1, go for the hits you -can't- make with M1. That way you're cutting into their survivability earlier than an M1 killer could.

But that's the thing: An infected survivor -has no strong loop-. Vault spots and pallets become risky when they're infected.
It's not free, it makes the survivor noisy for one, and if they want to get rid of it, they have to track down a chest, open it, and inject the vaccine, thereby giving their position away and losing time.

There’s a lot of talk of his advantages that don’t exist in high level play. Yes he can hit over things, but survivors do not use resources until they are injured. So they loop then W-key to the next tile. This is normally okay but what’s going on is:
Chases that normally take forty seconds, take well over a minute at the start of the match
No resources are used so once they need to put up blocks, killer has to contend in late game
The whip is not advantaged enough to use. I think he could start at tier 3 and it does not compensate for survivor strategies.
My point is not that survivor is busted. My point is Nemesis is too disadvantaged.

Nemesis is totally fine. It's just his zombies that need to be fixed up. The zombies should not be getting stuck in walls and their fov for visual detection should probably be widened.

Nemesis is a good killer that could become oppressive if you buff one too many variables.
I think at the most, infection speed boost should be slightly decreased (make Licker Tongue basekit). However completely removing the boost would be a bit much since survivors have limited vaccines. If the boost were to be removed then there should be 1-2 extra vaccines on the map but take a little longer to open + apply.
Zombies are tricky to change… maybe just improve their pathing so they don’t get stuck. Or perhaps make them always spawn near gens (or exit gates once all gens are completed).

Not so risky. In the jungle gym, you can still win a lot of time, and then protect yourself by dropping pallet in advance.

He's not worse than a basic M1 Killer, he's high C tier due to his ok antiloop but he's very time inefficient unlike other Killers but he's still better than basic M1 Killers like Trapper, Clown, Pig and Myers for example
