Why are Boon Totems Not Locked When Killer's Can't Snuff Them?
Like I don't get it, they deactivated the healing boon because it was causing crashes, but Boons are available to be used even though a majority of the totem spawns the Killer can't even interact with them to snuff them?
Also times when Survivors can't counter something the Killer does, that gets resolved, or locked immediately, but when it's something that affects the Killer we "just have to deal with it"?
Turn off boon totems till you make every totem spawn available to be snuffed.

Because they need Chapter sales. Nobody is going to buy a Chapter with 2 disabled perks.
People will buy a Chapter if they hear " New Survivor perk is OP, bully players with it since it can't be cleansed."

I've only seen 2 since the patch.
One on DDS, and one on...I think it was a 'farm' map.

I mean, in the past when we've had totems that couldn't be cleansed (Old farm maps) nothing ever got disabled.
I'll never forget the times Ruin would spawn on the tractor totem and couldn't be cleansed.

I've only run into one boon totem I couldn't snuff out, I was playing Clown and it was a spawn in the lower level of The Game that was wedged between a wall and some boxes. I haven't had any trouble cleansing any others.

But right now when a totem cant be cleanse the map get disable asap but for boon they dont do that

I wouldn't have listed them if they each didn't have a totem I couldn't snuff today. Which I sent in another ticket. Which my last 24 tickets have just been totems Killer's can't reach on different maps.
Why are you going so far as to lie to defend boon totems?

It's not something I've seen and I've played for hours with the new perks. Every killer has been able to take out the blessed totems in the games I played. They aren't gonna just remove 2 out of 3 perks that comes with the new survivor for obvious reasons (it isn't even needed imo tho).

Have you been playing Killer? How do you know they just didn't walk away from the totems they couldn't snuff? I am speaking from watching what is considered the top DBD players, playing as killer on stream today. Where thousands of other people are seeing boon totems impossible to be snuffed, additionally their frustrations that the boon totems can't be snuffed.

The totems are no longer lit when they are snuffed... It's pretty obvious. I haven't seen any killer have trouble with them in my games.Yeah, I play killer and I haven't seen a blessed totem I couldn't snuff.

That i know you cant snuff a totem but that irrelavent to the dev because that bug favor the survivor so its not a priority but if that was an hex perk those map would be disable asap

cleanse =/= snuff
cleanse a hex: the survivor getting rid of the killer perk
snuff a boon: the killer temporarily getting rid of a survivor perk
They're saying when a survivor cannot get to the totem the map gets disabled, but when a killer can't the map stays up. They're not defending boons, they're trying to point out double standards favoring survivors similar to your original post.

Because that's a problem with maps, not the perk itself. Unlike when COH caused crashes, that was the perk itself. Disabling boons when it's only specific maps where the problem exists is a good old "cut the whole hand off because one finger is messed up" solution.
The maps where the problem exists should be disabled though. Not just the offerings either, but entirely disabled in all ways except manually selecting them in Custom Game.

They never disabled a Map for an uncleanseable Hex-Totem. Survivors had to deal with it until the next Patch. I remember that the Farm-Totem was uncleanseable for 3 weeks.
They also disabled Maps whenever a Killer had problems with it. E.g. the Bus on Autohaven was bugged so that only Survivors could enter it. Or invisible walls on Red Forest-Maps where Surivvors were untouchable in some Tiles. They act quite fast with stuff like this, when it hurts Killers.

Well, it would be bad advertisement if 2 out of 3 Perks of a Chapter are disabled. Also, they disable Map Offerings, which at least makes it not possible to abuse said Maps. And I guess, they dont disable the Maps, because otherwise they would have to disable like 5 Maps (at least this was the case before the most recent Bugfix-Patch).
Also, as I have written above, most of the time when something bothers the Killer, it gets disabled. To add to my examples - Hill-Bug... Survivors were able to get stuck on Hills, this was in the game for weeks. Killers also managed to get stuck, but they were able to free themselves with Lunges. Survivors just were stuck.
So, it would be nice if you would not create some bias regarding "Survivor Bugs get fixed immediatly, Killers have to suffer", because this is not the case.

Because it would be easier to disable the Boons so their QA team test all the totem spawns to see if the Killer can reach the totems or not, instead of disabling all the maps in the game.
I just found un-snuffable totems in Red Forest and Lery's.
If they disabled all the maps that had un-snuffable totems we wouldn't have any maps to play.
