How Many Times Can You Go Afk Before Being Penalized?
Asking for a friend.
MMR is broken where it's extremely easy to raise mmr as Killer, and - I guess balanced to raise mmr as Survivor, because in most cases when you die, you still won anyways.

I dont know. I havent seen a cheater getting penalized or banned so i dont know if you would get a penalty. I would not say you should afk but its your choice

You should never afk because it's considered against the rules. What you should do, however, is put on an endgame build and perform very, very poorly a theoretically infinite amount of times.

Well survivor MMR is raised by escaping so you don’t “win anyway” by getting sacrificed.
And I’ve never seen a report of someone actually getting a penalty for AFK’ing so your “friend” is probably safe.

I don't want to give the toxic players the satisfaction, and would rather spend my time doing something fun while I wait for my mmr to go where it's supposed to be / to where I want it to be.
I get that I am good at the game, but I don't want to play competitively, or against cheaters all the time.

All I really meant was give yourself some plausible deniability. I mean, you never know, survivors could potentially show up inside a brick wall with how broken this game's been for years.

Leaving a Game punish you with 5 mins and scaling to 15-30-60 mins and 12 hours 24 and 72.
But staying AFK for any reason maybe an urgency at home.... Doesnt punish you.

Nah you won't be punished other than maybe some harsh words from survivors if you count that as a punishment. If you really feel the need to, just find a nice corner and stare at it while doing whatever else IRL. Or even better, find an exit gate and wait at it for all gens to pop, then open it yourself to force EGC to start. That way survivors are forced to leave after a couple mins instead of exploding windows and pallets for an extra 10 mins.

There's not a hard limit. It's how many survivors report you for it, which isn't something you can control.
That said, you can just play chest defender Bubba or park yourself in front of a hex totem and chase away any survivor that approaches it, and there's nothing against the rules in that despite the bulk of your gameplay just being standing still.

Never heard or seen anyone punished for it in 4 years.
