A way to stop teabaging at the gate

yup or i go smashing pallets or doors

- Blood warden/no way out/remember me + noed. (or all 4 for maximum endgame slowdown)
- Play as Slinger, Twins, Pig, or Ghostface.
- sacrificing all 4 survivors. (this one's less advice and moreso a joke)

No no no, people on DBD really seem to have gotten toxicity confused with BM or rudeness.
Merriam-webster: 3. extremely harsh, malicious or harmful... this is the definition of toxic in this context. That would be referring to, you know, endgame chat stuff/personal attacks/twitch brigades etc. Teabagging? Does that sound extremely harsh, malicious or harmful? Same goes for hitting on hook, sure can be feel a lil rude but toxic is reaching so far it's not even funny. The term toxic is thrown around so willy nilly here it's mind numbing

Let me ask a question. Showing my middle finger when an elevator door closes is a rude or a toxic action?
For me rudeness is just kinda being grumpy, toxic is purposefully go and annoy someone to get under his/her skin.
Also, if I would create a post saying T-bagging is rude. People would justify it regardless, doesn’t matter how you define it.
Do you think if the devs would create popping up text bubbles with cursed words wouldn’t the T-baggers use those instead?

Middle finger when an elevator closes? That's just rude man. It'd veer into toxic if you scream out "too slow ya fat b itch lose some weight!"
Yeah you're right about people justifying it anyways, but how you define it really does matter. Everyone throws around toxic to the point that when people actually display toxic behaviour it gets relegated into "oh whatever it's just a game" because people aren't differentiating it at all.
Again, toxicity by definition in this context is extremely harsh/purposefully malicious/harmful, in game movements are not and never will be toxic by definition because they are not extremely harsh/purposefully malicious (purposefully rude + bad sportsmanship YES but not MALCIOUS) or harmful actions. Unlike personal attacks and harrassment, which are toxic

If you get teabagged you were either very terrible killer with noed presumably or you were camping.
If teabagging hurts your feelibg so hard why do you go there? just turn around and cry in corner for not gettibg 4k

I mean, survivors won't leave until you do, so...

I don't even go near the gate if I know I can't get anymore kills. I just spam my power for a few extra bloodpoints.
0 -
Or you could just walk into gate and claim free hits with free points ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
If killer is around gate i usually stay (without teabagging tho) to give him a hit or two and maybe earn a protection / distraction hit
It's just the game, if such simple things get you so mad, you have to make forum post about it, maybe you should take a break.

Current exit gate meta is annoying, but take these things away and survivors will point and clicky clicky instead. Take that away and they will come up with something else. You can't stop people expressing themselves.

Camping killers directly affects gameplay whereas a survivor t-bagging at the end of the match or after a dropped pallet doesn't. They're not comparable.

At this point how many safe zones do survivors need to actually feel a challenge anymore?
0 -
They are both toxic, which makes them both bad.

I have a better idea. Add a secondary effect to Blood Warden that blocks the exit gate of the exit gate area the killer is standing in. That would put a stop to exit gate teabagging immediately (or survivors will suffer the consequences).

You're missing my point. Yes they are both seen as BM and toxic, but camping literally ruins a survivor's match, it actively prevents someone from engaging in normal gameplay. Whereas, t-bagging does not do this. That's the main reason that there is way more of a focus on stopping camping rather than t-bagging.
This is also why t-bagging is not really a problem at all.

I think the better way would be having an animation time for flashlight and crouching, like when you crouch of turn off flashlight, it takes like 1 or 2 seconds to be able to do it again, which also wouldnt be any nerf for survs because you are not going to spam a flashlight or spam crouching in a real in-game mechanic situation or something, its only objective in any situation is just to be toxic

Camping has given value for the killer. T-bagging at the exit gate has no given value, it’s equal with killer hitting survivor on his/her death hook. So don’t compare the two, cause they are different.

camping does not ruin a survivors match. Maybe don't get caught.

You realise that running a killer in a chase isn't so you don't get caught, it's to prolong the time they have to chase you so your team can do generators. "Don't get caught" is a terrible argument because a good survivor knows that they will eventually get caught, that's just how the game works.
As for saying that camping does not ruin a survivor's match, you are blatantly wrong but I'm not going to repeat myself with the reasoning because clearly you aren't willing to listen to it.

I’ve never seen so many people get so upset over a crouch animation. That’s insane

Just going to point out that I was the one that originally said the two aren't comparable. So I don't know why you're telling me not to compare them, when I'm not. What I am doing is pointing out the fact that one affects gameplay and the other doesn't, which is most likely the reason that there has been more efforts to prevent camping and not t-bagging.
Whether you believe that camping is fun and good or not is your opinion, I'm not going to get into that.

Camping removes a survivor from the game for an extended period of time. Tbagging tilts you. These are not one in the same (and hell, Camping is justified in some situations)
It's silly.

Killer is supposed to ruin your game and kill you, that is why camping is allowed there is nothing wrong with it. T-bagging is just childish but that's all it is. So t-bagging is worse since it has very little purpose.

You realise that Dead by Daylight is a game right? You're meant to have fun in a game. If, you, as the killer is actively trying to ruin someone's fun then you are at fault. As for a "killer is supposed to ruin your game and kill you", you are right they are meant to kill you and stop you from escaping but you are still meant to have fun. That's the purpose of a video game.
Camping is not fun, it's as simple as that. That's the reason why so many people have a problem with it.
As for t-bagging, to go by your logic, a survivor is meant to ruin your game and escape, so there's nothing wrong with it. If you get annoyed by repetitive CTRL pressing then it's served it's purpose. You see how it's a silly argument? Camping and t-bagging can both be seen as "childish" and having purpose.

killers often camp survivors because they teabag them constantly. I don’t mind when they do it a few times, but anymore than that you’re out of the match.

But the argument is about how to stop t-bagging at the exist gate. Not how to stop camping. In addition as you have admit camping gives value to killer.
