Something needs to be done about 3 gen situations.
I'm really tired of games that end up being 3 gen situations. You know, where the last 3 gens are really close together and you can almost never get them done, because the Killer keeps going back and forth between the 3. This is especially bad when they have things like Ruin, Tinkerer, and Pop.
You may say "oh just do gens in the right order so you don't get 3 gen'd." This CAN work, based on how the Killer plays, however they can in fact force a 3 gen if they really want to by just patrolling 3 really close gens. And there's nothing you can really do about it.
In some cases, the Killer isn't able to kill anyone in 3 gen situations and just keeps forcing them off their gens and kicking them, but this is still an issue as it prolongs the match by an unnecessary amount of time, and it gets extremely boring. It's almost like taking the game hostage.
Many people complain about Tinkerer, however, I actually don't think Tinkerer would be as big of an issue as it is if it weren't for 3 gen situations.
Something needs to be done about these situations as it's been a big issue ever since release, and they haven't done much about it except reworked Deja Vu to make it help prevent 3 gens, which in fact does not help at all.
There's many ways this could be done, such as making gens more spread out, increasing repair speed when the last 3 gens are really close, stopping them from being able to regress, or automatically popping one of them but unpopping one that's far from that area, basically swapping the gens out, giving them a different gen to repair.
I would not mind if something were done for the Killer's side to help them as well, in exchange for removing 3 genning.

3 genning is almost always preventable. It's not a problem and shouldn't get nerfed because you don't like it. If Killera force a 3 Gen that means they aren't applying pressure to the Survivors and just staying around there which will lose them the game

Not true. It won't necessarily lose, or win them the game. It prolongs the game. That's the issue my guy.
Killer mains...

As a survivor main, I do place most blame for these situations on the survivors. The only exceptions I can think of are maps like Avarov's Resting Place or Suffocation Pit, where the problem is intrinsically map design. If you don't see the last gen popping and don't want to waste time, just give up and go to the next match.

I should not have to give up because of this. Some maps get 3 gens worse than others.

It prolongs the game, LUL. Most Killers can't snowball easily and need to prolong the game and waste the Survivors resources to win

Whether or not it wins them the game is, again, not the concern here. It's the fact of them basically taking the game hostage by not letting anyone repair, and also not killing anyone.

The killer is doing their job by protecting the generators, they have the choice when it is appropriate to chase a survivor or not. You can commit to repairing, or let them kill you and move on.

I'm most certainly not gonna let them kill me, and it's hard to commit to repairing when the gen keeps getting kicked. It depends on the map on how bad it really is, though.

Goddamn killer mains, they should all be banned and replaced by AI.

Sounds good to me, lmao.

3 gens are literally a problem caused by survivors, not the other way around

You have a responsibility to make sure you DON'T get 3 gen'd. This is where actual strategy comes into play in DBD.

If you allowed the killer to have 3 gen strat, your teammates are the ones to blame. :)

As I said, the Killer can in fact force a 3 gen.

the killer can infact, throw the game to get a 3 gen. If there are 4 survivors left, and you lose to a 3 gen it is again the survivor's fault lmao

This is only a problem when survivors don't push on the gens. Killers can not stop the gens effectively unless survivors are slow at returning to repairs.
When survivors split, progress will always be made and the killer is forced to take a chase.

Even in games where the killer has a 3 gen it's still possible for the survivors to win but it depends on how many survivors are alive.
I had a match with 3 survivors left on Avarov's where the killer had a 3 gen on the shack side. We just pressured the two farthest gens until one got completed.

There is literally a perk made for making sure you don 3 gen yourself

Lets nerf one of the main meta killer strategys so they cant literally do nothing, or better, lets remove killer players and add bots

What's that saying? "Give them an inch, and they'll take a mile."
You've fostered this, BHVR. Good luck undoing it.
