Give killers a perk where if they step on Boons they become a Hex again.

I feel this is perfectly balanced. The Survivor can always turn it back into a boon, or choose to break it. This way killers have a legitimate counter to Boons. The idea is giving the killer the opportunity to fix a broken hex that they may have needed later in the trial. It becomes their own version of an ace in the hole if done correctly. Do you make their ruin a boon? Or do you risk that knowing the killer could make it ruin later? If the hex reactivated the survivors will automatically know where it is. They just have to go and break it. Giving the killer more time in a fair way.

This ability is a perk. So the killer has to use a slot to even make this option possible. 1 for the hexes of choice, and 1 for the perk itself. If something like this was basekit it’d be too strong with other totems and pop.

Why not? Wouldn't you almost prefer they ran that perk over something decent? Most boon users are probably just going to destroy the totem anyways. It would be nearly useless. Like 90% of the perks. Which makes it perfect for DbD.

I'd much rather a non hex perk that blocks all totems for 60-90 seconds at the beginning of the match. This would keep you from losing hexes at the beginning of the match regardless of RNG. You'd get at least some value out of things like ruin, blood favor, and the third seal, without making things like devour hope absurdly overpowered, as you'll probably not get 3 hooks and unhooks in a minute and a half.

And when mixed with other perks could give you a bit of slowdown at the beginning of the match so that 3 gens going in two minutes isn't as common.

This would allow hexes to still be viable, while giving survivors plenty of opportunity to use boons, without every having to change the way either perk works.

This sure would be really neat! Like a Corrupt Intervention but for Hex Totems! Great idea!

I think it's a nice way to remake Hex: Undying, I don't like the idea of die first.

It's kinda useless, you don't know that you are going to face boon totems. It's useless if they don't and they can always just cleanse your totem and find dull for boon...

This should not be a perk. It should Be a feature. But I guess survivors don't have Risk vs Reward perks in Thier meta now do they?

All Hex protecter perks are also Hex. Even as useless as Thrill. So your idea will be also a Hex.
