Headset question
Does anyone have any recommendations for a nice mic headset that would work on both PC and series x?
My previous turtle beaches broke(it wasn't great but it did the job) and I was looking for a different brand of mic
My budget 190-220 (although feel free to recommend ones outside the budget)

I'd recommend getting headphones without a mic and then getting an attachable mic like antlion modmic. That way you get better quality for both audio and voice. The headsets are typically rather overpriced.

Another vote for SteelSeries, although I don't use the mic part because I use my external mic....but the quality of them is so good.
Razor Blackshark Pro are also really good.

I use an Alienware 410 H
Good quality, and changable cords to a USB and the traditional headphone jack of a console.
The mic is also pretty good

I use Corsair HS60 Pros, they're like $50 on Amazon. I did research at the time to find a good headset on a pretty tight budget.

Steelseries are fantastic, I've bought two now

Steelseries in general has really good headsets, same with Logitech. But I use Steelseries Arctis 5, and they are great

As some people said, Steel Series' headsets are great. I have the cheapest one, the Arctis 1 (which cost 60 euros, but it was my very first headset so I preferred to not buy the most expensive directly). It's a very cool one, I'm now considering to buy the Arctis 7.
Steel Series' headsets work with PC and consoles. Also, if you have very fragile ears like me, you'll have no issues with Steel Series. I had a surgery when I was a kiddo, but I have great pain in my ears if I put something on it which is too heavy. I can wear the Arctis 1 for hours and hours with no pain... Saying how comfortable it is.

You can remove the micro from most of the Steel Series' headsets.

yeah I haven't actually removed mine, just didn't plug the jack in, just put the jack in for the headphones part, and I use my external condenser mic with it.
Figured the mic was always handy to have as a back up in case something happened with my main one.

Beyerdynamic dt 770 pro 32 ohm. Really good for gaming and music. No blinkblink no mic just headphones. On Ps4 with no USB sound card they are a little powerless but still OK. On pc really great.

Check out Sennheiser headsets. Quality and I've had mine for the past 3 years.
Although I am in the same boat as Mandy, I don't use the microphone (even though its good) as I have an AT2020+ mic. But its a great backup.
