I hope the devs aren't listening to the forums
Seriously I'd say 75-80% of the posts here complaining about camping and tunneling are just players who suck at losing with dignity.
How many streams do you watch where everyone cries camper/tunnler for any or no reason other than they died?
How many times do you get hit with the trash killer camping/tunneller post game again for any reason?
I just had a game, leatherface on midwich. I down 1 survivor next to basement hook em down there, as I'm leaving a survivor runs behind me into the basement for the save when I'm right next to the stairs. So I chainsaw down the stairs and down him. DC.
I go to leave the basement and the next survivor has just given up standing at the top of the stairs waiting for me to down them. I oblige and hook em.
Spend the rest of the game chainsawing doors, the couple of dropped pallets from the first chase and snuff a boon. I'm nowhere near the basement at this point with two hanging on hooks down there.
Stumble across hatch close it for the BP, run into the last survivor smack the exit gate they don't get it and just start running, decide screw it down them and hook GG.
Post game "dirty camper", "trash basement bubba", "uninstall", "#########" etc etc etc.
I hope the devs aren't listening to this crap because a lot of it is just whining sore loser BS.

Yea I have the same experience when I was playing the Hag. I hook a survivor and like any Hag player I place a trap near the hooked survivor. I walk away and not even 3 seconds after I leave my trap activates and I down the rescuer both DC immediately. I repeat the process with the other two but they didn't DC and they died. They responded with "Dirty Camping Grandma" "Uninstall you have no skills just camp"
Survivors will always blame the killer for their mistakes or lack of skills. The survivors know knew they were going up against the Hag so they should of known to be looking for my traps but because I was using the shackles they never knew they triggered the trap until it was too late.

I have same experiences. I hook someone i notice another survivor trying to be funny next to the hook i chase that person..this person runs me around next to the hook. Another one comes takes that person off the hook i hit that person...cycle continues.
Survivors if you are running the killer next to the hook or you come to rescue someone while the killer is still standing there blame yourself. Do not call us campers or tunnelers when its your own fault for keeping us there.

I had a similar situation where I hooked someone in the basement, placed one trap down there and as soon an I left the shack the trap went off and an injured survivor from the previous hook was down there trying to unhook. And as I hook him another injured survivor comes running in.
I tried explaining in post game that "if you don't want me to camp then you should wait until I'm gone to bum rush the basement" but they weren't having any of that. Got three negative rep comments on my account for "camping" despite trying to leave the area. Some people just don't understand.

Yes, if you bodyblock and force me to hit you with BT I am going to chase and down you. No, it's not tunneling, I didn't even want you.

Leatherface is very good at making them lose the will to play, the only killer I have better luck with is Twins.

I had a game tonight where I got a 3k with a hatch escape with Bubba because the survivors ran around me like idiots trying for flashlight saves. Afterward one of them called me a “trash killer” and made fun of me bringing NOED. I didn’t have NOED, I think he thought my Thanatophobia was NOED. Besides which the gens never finished so even if I had NOED it would have literally never been in play.
Sore loser survivors are the worst.

You're right. That's really all it is. People just can't handle losing and act like manbabies when they do. I'd say the majority of the people that scream for nerfs on these forums are sore losers. The small minority may have a legitimate gripe.

I mean, just because you experience one thing does not mean others don't experience something different.

Aside from your own match, many solo que players have also noticed an extreme amount on tunneling and facecamping in their own matches. So it’s safe to say a chunk of people have at least experienced it once or more in the past couple of days or so. That being said it’s okay if they make threads about it, the same way killers make the same threads saying “nerf swf”, “nerf boons”, “nerf dead heard”, “nerf gen speeds” etc. But it’s better off playing in a SWF so you can have a more enjoyable time and a chance at escaping at this point.

There are 100 of thousands of players, if not close to a million.
How many forum people are there? 1000?
I don't think the devs take us any more serious then we deserve. We are by definition a vocal minority.
People do need to realise that just because something is a hot discussion here doesn't actually mean anything

The devs are extremely good at ignoring feedback. No need to worry

Dev's look at the statistical numbers and DLC sales lmbo.

Unfortunately they have said they were working on something against camping with the latest Q&A.
But yeah it doesn't matter if you go after new survivors the whole game, you always have people complaining that you tunneled them or camped them.
Even though you went across the entire map hooking different survivors 🤷🏼♂️

Think about it this way. Camping and tunnelling aren’t going anywhere because BHVR would have to re-balance the entire game.
Only 12% of killers are a legitimate threat to survivors. The other 88% have camp/tunnel consistently (at higher MMR) to compensate for how weak they are.
This is BHVR we are talking about. They aren’t going to put in that kind of work. Not a chance.

People just use them terms no matter what. Iv chased people of gens with old DS and got called a tunneler.
Not only was they on a gen but 60seconds had past lol. But this is what happens when you say 50% of survivors should escape at a low/casual level.
Most killer players arent top 1% so they will never compete at the higher skills and will be placed with worse survivors where they can actually win, I have a huge amount of experience in this game but I have still lost due to no gen defense or just an efficient swf even if they cant loop well.
Bad maps, tiles and point of balance is the issue
