Survivors mains are really the worst this community is so toxic
Im survivor main but I play both side recently.
At first when I played killer I tried to do my best and kill all of them.
Since the SBMM I just want to chill and play for fun. Im not a competitive guy. So I decided to do my best to 2 hook everyone then letting them escape by gates.
When I tried to kill them all they insulted me in endgame chat. Now I let them escape and play super fair and they still toxic in endgame chat, insulting me ect.
What am I supposed to do ?
Im confused. I dont understand this hate towards killer players.
Survivors ask killers to play fair, no camp, no tunnel, but even if you play like that its still toxicity in endgame chat.
I think most of survivors mains just want to insult killer player whatever happen during the game.
Next time I will try hardcamp games. Maybe they will stop insulting then 🤷♂️

It's like I told someone else a couple of days ago. It doesn't matter if you play nice or camp and tunnel. You're still going to get that immature vitriol from emotionally unstable manbabies and teens.

I myself limit killer games to a few a day because of toxicity, but it goes both ways.

Just a quick reminder, killers are just as toxic as survivors. It is a game and in literally any other pvp game there is just as much if not more toxicity even when you do nothing wrong.
it is the internet, nothing has changed that, and dbd isn't an exception or weird oddity.
Play how you find fun, block endgame chat if it bothers you so much, and if you find being toxic is mean and then you do it, you are not only the problem, but also proving the fact that killers and survivors are both toxic.

That's not true though. Not in my experience. I've rarely gotten hate messages from killers like I have from survivors.

I dont agree. Killers mains are not toxic. I had really good chats with killers when I play survivor but not in the other way. No survivors had a good endgame chat with me as killer. Even if I tried to be nice by saying "gg hope you enjoyed the game" they still insulting me.

Not really how that works, like you said in your experience. There is 4 survivors for every one killer, statistically a more sided killer main is gonna come across more toxic survivors than killers, but that doesn't eliminate the fact that killers and survivors are about equally as toxic, the forums are a great example.

I've mained killer the last few years but with the new meta killer is not as fun for me anymore. Survivor is the only way I can tolerate it lately.

Some people let their emotions dictate their lives and that's how they express themselves. I wouldnt take any of it personally because you did everything in your power to make the game fun for everyone. Theres nothing but acceptance after that depending on how the game ends. Win or lose, people should not be so incredibly toxic... but its unavoidable, so it's best to just compliment them and move on. If you cant say anything nice then leave the game and take a break. You shouldn't let people who ride their emotions get the better of you, so you might need some time to process that.

But meh, are just people a lil bit salty, or sometimes even being a douche for the sake of "Fun" in their party.
If they're being nasty Just move on, don't reply and that's it, both sides will forget one another anyways.

Just today there has already been forum posts saying they are just gonna start camping and tunneling now to be toxic, just look here at the forums and you can clearly see that it is much more killer mains feeling oppressed than survivors being toxic.

This game at its core is designed to make survivors rage and killers self harm. Its baked into the basic gameplay.

Dont worry im not affected by toxicity. I just think the main problem is survivors forgot there are real people behind the killer. I just laugh when I saw these endgame chats but I know there are sensitive people and I want to defend them.

In my experience that's how that works. There are no numbers. No proof to say who's right. I've been playing this game since 2018 and that is my experience.

Matchmaking is to blame I am silver 2 and barely managed to grind some decent perks, guess what the game decided I should go against a rank 1 prestige 3 wraith with perks and hexes from the payed killers. The game ended in 2 minutes, the dude was the ultimate tryhard. So don't be surprised when ppl are toxic towards the killer.

It was mmr gap, unfortunetly you cant take out your frustration on the devs for their poor matchmaking. So they take it out on the next thing that comes in line and yes that is the killer so again don't be surprised.

I wish there was a different game mode, like chill/normal games, different to this competitive one. I like challenge as survivor, but I dont play killer that much and I want to have fun. I dont care about winning.
I prefer letting all survivors escape and have a great time instead of a stressful 4K where I had to tryhard to win.
Sometimes I want to do my best, sometimes I just want to do my rift challenges and play chill. Dbd need a non ranked mode.

but I think we cant blame killers in a very survivor sided game. Killers toxicity is just because they are exhausted of survivors toxicity.
If the survivor side was healthier I think there will be less toxicity in both sides.
Currently the survivors just try to bully killers every game because its easier to play survivor and its a 4v1.
So I understand killers hard camping, tunneling to death. Sometimes they just want revenge because they had bad game.
Yes the real problem is game design. But the survivors are abusing it, causing toxicity, both sides.
You know what I mean ? Im not saying there is a us versus them. I say because survivor side is easy mode because game design is bad, players are abusing it because its fun to bully Michael Myers. But there is a player behind the killer.
If the killers were less nerfed, and stronger I think there will be less toxicity because the survivors will fear the killer. Currently its just dbd survivor super party.

I met my fair share on both sides.
But also I met some realy nice guys on both sides.
And to be honest, if survivors would be less toxic it wouldn't change the gameplay of a lot of the Killers. Cause the system doesn't give the Killer lot of chances.
I Main survivor and when I got camped in the past I was angry yes and told him yes hate campers but gg.
Now I tell them next time they wouldn't get to camp me. And wish him/her luck with his/her next games. Until we meet again.
Cause realy if I start to stress out over a match I could have stayed at work and stress out there.
And yes I know survivors who are nice even when they had a bad game are rare. But if I got a killer like you I would give you the last hook on me everytime.
Cause a nice Killer deserves at least my death 😆

You must have been lucky, as I rarely find killers that aren't toxic. They don't necessarily have to be toxic in how they speak, but they can be in how they play. Either way, I feel you. A survivor once threatened to report me just because I asked, by sending a message, if they all were available to help me with a tome challenge, be hooked twice and then left free to escape. When you find those people, it's best to just ignore them. If you let them get into you too much, you're not going to have a good time.

It happens to me sometimes too where survivors that are more skilled than me and escape then message me to rub it in my face. I just roll my eyes and move on, but yah, they don't seem to understand this doesn't make them look more awesome as survivors, but actually just shows their toxicity.

There is a reason endgame chat can be hidden and in my experience this game is full of Manchildren. Its in your best interest to just hide the chat and not worry about peoples opinions itll get the best of you at the worst times. I used to work in television and so i got a tempered hide from critiques. I know this is a game but almost all social enviroments run the same good luck

Just play how you want to, you will never reason with the unreasonable. If you want to 2 hook everyone and let them go, do it. If you want to bleed all 4 of them out while teabagging, do it. Your choice, not theirs.

I will always play how I want. I play for myself. But sometimes I just want to understand the hate towards killers.
I used to be that kind of survivor who blame killers for camping. But since I play killer I understand.
But when I play fair as killer, just doing rift challenges. If the entity dont told me to kill them, I will not. And the toxicity is still here, thats what I dont understand.
I dont need survivors approval, but I just try to understand their logic. And there is none.

You are right there is no logic in such behavior. And I like to play on console for that reason. If they want to flame with toxic chat they have to message me privat and than I report it to Sony and they do something about it.
On PC hide endgamechat and if they message you privat you can report it on steam. 😉

Most of the time it's there own fault in the game and they can't see it so they just point all the blame on the killer and that's not fair. Like they try to take a BT hit and you wait it out you down them and they call you a tunneler and it's like dude you guys are so stupid sometimes.

I know how you feel but I experienced it from both sides and after 3 years I had anough, more so the last few months.
Now I chat with the people who are nice in private and even play arranged games with them just for the fun.
And I must say that way I had less stress and again more fun.
