Killers trolling survivors ruin the game...
When the killer decides to troll survivors by doing nothing but running around the map and blatantly ignoring everyone then at random deciding to attack survivors and hook them it completely ruins the game. I had a spirit who gave the impression they were just there to just kick pumpkins and run to random locations on the map while ignoring the survivors. They would come up to us and M1 the air around us and stare at generators while we worked on them. They did this for over half the match, then randomly decided to start attacking survivors but also letting them heal each other right in front of them. No impression whatsoever that they were playing to win or participate in normal play at all. Then suddenly they start hooking survivors and letting us unhook right in front of them while then running off and doing the same things they did before. One survivor died on hook to which I assumed the killer lost track of how many times they were hooked. After that happened the 2nd time I realized the killer may actually be playing now. The killer found me working on the last generator, and then continued to let me finish it while just standing there and moving around the generator. When it completed they downed me and then used rancor to kill me while the last survivor escaped. All I can assume is this killer had some kind of rancor challenge and basically cheated by trolling us to get it done easier. This is so annoying and ruins the game. Don't lead us on to think you're doing one thing just so you can change your mind later for whatever reason. Something needs to happen to discourage players from doing this. I see this happen often and every time I feel like the killer cheated to get a challenge done or just to troll the survivors. I participated in normal play and yet I have to put up with trolling crap like this. The fact the killer probably got a rancor challenge done without even having to try just pisses me off all the more.

Well, if killer didn't bodyblock you as last survivor before endgame begins, it's not bannable.
There is nothing in the game encourage killer to pretend farming and then kill survivors. So I don't know how you want to deal with this. You can just lose your trust and don't fall for this to next farming killer.

Always assume shenanigans.
But seriously, how often do you really see stuff like you just described? I mean it happens, but I think I could count on my hands the number of times something like that happened to me in hundreds of hours of survivor play. When a killer is playing like that, I always assume they can and may flip the switch at any moment, and I have no particular problem with it other than being annoyed they weren't really playing from the start.

If that were true there wouldn't be a report option at the end of matches. The killer misled survivors too much. Its one thing to do it some in a match but when you're making it go on and on and not deciding to play normally until the end then I have a problem with how you're playing. It feels like cheating in my opinion especially if you did it for a challenge.

Maybe they were doing the daily ritual challenge where they had to mori one survivor?? regardless that is messed up.

I've encountered a lot of killers like this who don't start playing till 2/3 gens are done as sort of a hard mode.

The killer can play how they want, such as a survivor can play how they want. If the killer wants to let you do gens, then do gens. Why should it bother you what the killer does. If you are stupid enough to not keep watch of the killer then that is your look out.
The killers task is simple, stop you leaving, how he does that, whether it be ruin to slow you down, taking out one person at a time or spending time scratching his bum before he locks the gate and uses noed, that's down to him.
It seems like killers can't win on this forum. Now it's "The killer let us do gens, but hit us occasionally"
I bet at the end of the game you got loads of bloodpoints, and so did he. I've had games like this. I did my gens and left.

It's not a nice way to play the game. But it is a way.
Always expect as survivor that the Killer will try to Kill me.
I mean come on its in the name K.I.L.L.E.R.
If you got a farmer who wanted to give you BPs before killing you so take it. If he wanted to let you escape at the the end take it.
If he plays nice and fair take it.
If he camps your face off guess what suck it up.
I Main survivor and I know how it sucks for Killer.
It sucks for us too, yes, but only if you don't have skill and a bit luck.
As Killer you need alot of both.
But back to your complaint.
All I read is crying over a Killer who helped you farm and outsmarted you at the end.
I bet you got nearly 30k BPs and a pip for sure maybe even 2 pips.
And you are complaining over a kill you could have seen before the last gen. You got maybe in the Archiv points too.
And he got some too.
Who cares if it was a trick you both got a fair share out of it.
If you don't like those types of game styles just such it up die on hook or try to survive next time.
But what you do here is crying and complaining about a thing that isn't against any rules. Cause if outsmarting you and kill you is. Then no Killer should kill ever again. Cause he will get a report.
Even I got those Killers and at the end I laughed with them and thanked them for the BPs and the Archiv points. That's all you could do or cry some more if it helps you.

When I have a daily ritual to mori a survivor, I usually equip Rancor and just kinda chase survivors around during the match. I often don't hook them because I need them to finish gens, and the moment the gens are done I down and mori the obsession. I feel a little bad doing it, I dunno for some reason the mori Daily Ritual stresses me out and I'm just relieved when it's done, but I do it because it awards a good number of points.
On the flip side as survivor, if a killer lets me do gens and unhooks and earn healing points, that's usually a lot more BP than I would get if they played for real from the beginning, so I don't really care if they kill me in the end. It only feels like trolling if say there's a BP offering involved and the killer refuses to participate, won't even swing his weapon, but then slugs everyone once the gens are done and so the match was a waste of time, because without the escape points you've earned basically nothing (this kind of nonsense is why I trash BP offerings when I prestige).

To me this sounds like a killer having a derp moment, survivors embracing the stupidity and just roll with it.
I have had games like that from time to time, if my survivors start doing dumb stuff i play along and whe just hang around having fun, this sounds to me like the killer being a good sport, leting you guys do objectives while at the same time doing his then playing a little bit the meme of "top 10 anime betrayals" just for the fun of it, quite honestly this doesnt sound neater like an ill intension betrayal or a troll.
I would recomend you to embrace this moments, not all killers are willing to roll with the dumbness and just goof around with the survivors.
