Boon totem buff
So I dont know if this is intentional or not but I had 3 Maekelas in my match against a huntress and well i was the last one left. I realized that boon totems atm deactivate when the player that cast it exits the match either death or escape. Granted they ate no longer in the match but i almost feel as tho their buff should stay until its snuffed out by the killer. Especially if youve gotten used to its placement during the match.

Boon totems and buff should never be in the same sentence ever.

Granted i realize they are over powered atm but them simply disappearing from the match because the player that cast them leaves i feel is an oversight.

Well, seems like tunneling is even better counter-play to boon totems than I thought.

This is a big flaw on the part of the developers.
I think they should fix it

So you saying Boons are more OP than Hexes which there is a lot of Hexes that could expose and have the ability to kill you. I mean congrats if you think that Boons are too OP.

I hope this is intended or they are even more clueless on game balance than i thought

Вы выигрываете только с помощью таких критических ошибок в игре? Эй, нуб

are you speaking a total different language?

Wowowo don't talk about my mum like that.

No...just no. Boons are already borderline busted and you want them to linger after dead?....sorry but in all seriousness this is a terrible idea. If anything boons need some readjusments/nerfs, they are way to good

Hex plaything does the same thing. It disappears when the survivor dies.

I can see why you'd think they should stick around, but as we know that surv is no longer in game so I don't think there perks should be effecting the game afterward.

If you cannot leave the totem of good, then let the totem break into dust along with death

Have you even read the post?

This change would make the boon totem even better. I think this would only be an okay change if they nerf it to the ground.

Think of it this way, basically every other survivor perk that gives nearby other survivors a boost disappears when the survivor who grants it dies. The only difference is that in those cases the effect is centered on the survivor being centered on a stationary location. But it’s the survivor that is ultimately the base source of the benefit, not the location it’s centered around.
So it’s not a flaw that a boon that is being powered by a survivor with a perk ends when that survivor dies or escapes. The effect is directly tied to them, so when they’re gone so is the Boon.

It's one thing the aura that the survivor gives
Another totem that was consecrated

Boons don't need to have less counterplay than they already do.

But the totem remained

It wouldn't really make much sense if the effect of the perk lasted after they had left the match or died, same as perks that give advantages to other survivors such as Prove Thyself for example.

Unless it's Shadow Step.

Then break the totem after the death of the survivor
