No exhaustion perk or gen regression perk weekend?
How would you guys feel about this?

I would question what fit of insanity possessed the heads of BHVR to make such a thing possible, and then cower from the shrieking outrage that would descend upon the forum like a great wave.

It'd have to bethisweekend, 'cause I have the new Animal Crossing update to play so not being able to play survivor won't matter to me. Otherwise, we'll need to wait for BHVR to add killer bots.Edit: Ah, you updated your title: no exhaustion perks and/or gen regression perks. It could be interesting. I never run exhaustion or gen regression perks, myself, but I wouldn't mind playing the game without having to deal with Sprint Burst, Dead Hard, Ruin, and Surge/Jolt for a little while, though.

It'd be like the no bloodlust weekend.

It really wouldn't. No Bloodlust was very bad, but the game was still playable, give or take some near-infinites that could be heartily abussed. No exhaustion would make the game impossible. Infinite Dead Hard, infinite Sprint Burst. Infinite Head On if you want to be super cheeky and stunlock the killer for the whole game. There's nothing even to test here. The killer just flat out cannot catch anyone.

No like no exhaustion perks 🤣🤣 sorry for the confusion

I assume "no exhaustion" means "no exhaustion perks" because yeah, no exhaustion status effect sounds completely crazy no matter how you cut it.

...Ohhhhh. Hah. Okay. My bad. I was boggling.
Huh. Actually that'd be a decent test, though yeah, it's technically data they already have. It would be interesting to see high level play without DH, though. Since at high MMR, every survivor always has an exhaustion perk. Sometimes it's Sprint Burst, but there's always something.
No gen regression would just be pretty miserable, though. It's cemented into the meta for a reason and I don't think no exhaustion would balance it out - you can still loop a killer for minutes using map resources before the Dead Hard comes into play. Games with both of these conditions would be intense, but very fast.
I'm pretty sure this would turn into an All-Nurse weekend at light speed.

I just want to see different perks even if for just a weekend. For everyone

No exhaustion might be interesting.
No slowdown would be very predictable on the outcome. Same for something like no BT/DS weekend.
The no bloodlust weekend was bad only for the bloodlust gamers.

Bloodlust is a patch job to fix certain loops. Removing it makes it impossible for an M1 killer to catch up to a smart survivor in a select few areas. Anywhere else it's a newbie tool or an 'oh no, you're playing this badly, here's a fruit basket' kind of thing, but until map design is fixed, you can't remove bloodlust.

Right. A normal game without everyone using dead hard? Sign me up

Who needs exhaust when you have camo index?
Boon Shadowstep/Distortion, Lucky Break, Iron Will and Calm Spirit or Inner Healing is all you need!
Who needs exhaustion when you are Hackerman with Bond, Kindred, Windows of Opportunity and Open Handed?

BHVR does not need to do this to gain Data. They did it with Bloodlust, because Bloodlust exists in every game as a base mechanic. So they needed to disable it to gain Data without it.
If they want to look at No Exhaustion-Perks, they can look at games and Survivors without Exhaustion Perks.
If they want to look at No Gen Regression, they can look at games where the Killer is not using Ruin/PGTW/whatever.
So there would be no point in testing it over a weekend.
And given the last time, some Killers did not even play, the same would happen with No Gen Regression. I mean, some Killers would even have to think about 4 new Perks, you cannot expect that...

I don’t use exhaustion or gen regression perks much so i’d be fine with it.

As somebody who rarely uses Exhaustion perks I wouldn’t be bothered. I’ve also stopped using gen regressions perks as killer to make my games more about me having fun and less about winning.

I was about the same question. I barely see games without exhaustion perks, so I don’t know where they can get their data from.

Well, since that's my norm, I guess it would be nice not to have to face them every game

I don't run Exhaustion Perks on most Survivors
I don't run Gen regression on some Killers

It's not about the data, it's about the community as a whole playing without the meta for a little bit

(Steve skin, This is Not Happening).
I love experiments like this, but they are not as easy to do as people believe. It takes a lot of work, and if there's no real reason to do it - as you say it's not about data, I fail to see why something like this would be worth it.

Pretty sure this was last minute baby sitter! it told me i already had the code but i don't have This is not happening ;)

This was from the code:

The Contract is sealed.
Please leave some potato chips under your bed tonight.

The skin materialized without it showing that I claimed it
i'm not complaining though

Kill switch all exhaustion perks, that's it. Is it so difficult?

I think it would be interesting. But if I were to be serious about something for data purposes, I would run a locked map type. So a weekend of just macmillan maps or something like that.

Darn, that's the only Steve skin I don't have.
