Hawkins BP compensation
DBD just tweeted this, everyone that logged in before the 5.3.0 patch will get 100k or more depending on how many offerings they had in their inventory. I just logged in and got 100k BP, not sure how many offerings I had total in my inventory.

I haven't held my punches on this forum about how I felt about this...I gotta say I'm genuinely surprised.
I was still hoping to save my badges for Hawkins 24/7 but I'll settle for some bloodpoints. I've been getting Hawkins a lot lately.

I think it's neat that they actually have data on how many Hawkins offerings everyone had. Then again, that's what they do on every PTB.
I'll never say no to bloodpoints, though I'm still sad I don't get to have my first legacy retired item to keep as a neat little trophy. Guessing it was part of the deal and Netflix wanted it gone, same as the weird perk name changes.

I think 100k if you had offerings. Not sure how much over 100k it would go though. On Twitter there are people asking if they'll get more on top because they had a ton of Hawkins offerings and 100k wouldn't cover them.

I got 600k too. So it's probably giving out an approximation rather than an exact 'this is how many bloodpoints you spent on Hawkins offerings.'
Still, 600k is great. More halloween items for all my survivors.

How are they calculating the amount of BP you get? Some people probably have over a thousand of these, are they getting 4-5 million BP?

I only got 100k, and I definitely had more than 100 offerings over all my survivors/killers.
100k is a reimbursement for only 20. Where's the rest BHVR?! I maxed out several characters since Stranger Things and I almost never burn a location offering.
How much you want to bet they looked at only the one survivor/killer that had the most on your account, and that's it, not the full total.

I don't know how they calculated it but 100k BP would be 20 offerings. I don't know the exact number I had but I know I had more than 20 between all my characters - 13 of my survivors have all perks and have atleast 2 of every map offering, if not more. Then there's my other survivors and killers that atleast some had the offering too. 😕

I mean, they are not really avoidable.. ^^ I guess at least my Nea had a lot of them.
Even tho, it was my favorite map for "Break X Pallets/Gens"-Challenges, since it is full of Pallets which dont need to be kicked right away.
I have read on Twitter that someone got 1.6 million. But I doubt that anyone can have more than that, they probably check which is the clostest value, so someone who got 600k was closer to 100 than 200, while someone who got 1.1 million was closer to 200.

Yep same here. I swear I had more than 20 Hawkins offerings, but I only got 100k. It's whatever though. Hawkins being deleted is enough reward for me.

My guess is that when they created their contract the names of the perks to
bethe associated characters had to be signed-off on. Now that the contract is coming to a close they have to change the names to be in line with that termination.1 -
i got 600k, not understanding how this works but wont complain still, thats nothing, the girnd tho, they could of gave 50 million points and wouldnt be enough man. (5.5 million to get 1 p3 level 50 without all perks, are required way more like 8 million to get everything, maybe more) per character, is madness, this game is madness, i hope p3 actually gave us something to compensate or mitigate all the wasted points with something more interesting that an outfit this time.

love how bhvr can't even make compensation without bugs, I opened it up and got the bare minimum of 100k, and with millions of BP invested in Blight I've never even looked at a Hawkins offering let alone used one so I feel like maybe I'm supposed to get just a little more?

I just logged in and only got 100k. I’m pretty sure I had at least 100 offerings (I wish they’d tell us exactly how many offerings we had before the removal). So either something is getting messed up for certain people or you needed a lot of offerings to qualify for bonuses.

I am honestly a bit mad they stole all my offerings and gave me a game and a halves worth of BP to compensate. Shady snake oil salesman.

I know that I have a Hawkins or two in current bloodwebs that I've been avoiding because they're going away. If I buy the offerings, do I get the bonus bp? XD

I got 100K but I had well over 100 offerings on a single Killer.
1,000 BP per Offering? That's even less than they are in the BloodWeb.

I only got 100k, while I don't think I had so few of those Hawkins offerings, since I almost never burn any map offerings. Weird.
I really want to know how the compensation is calculated. I really feel I got a lot less than I should have gotten.

I wonder why they just didn't give everyone who played before 5.3.0 like 1 million BP as an average. Now some people get 4.6 million and some 100k, that's just dumb imo. Of course I'm happy for the people who got that many points, good for them.
I mean, I'm glad they gave us compensation of course, but now I feel I got robbed of BP (just like with the petals for Halloween event, can't use those this year and maybe never and I got a lot on my characters so I got robbed of those BP as well).

We need some sort of official answer from the devs because i'm pretty sure I had a few offerings and received 100k, literally started playing before the stranger things chapter and barely used any map offerings

Curiosity got the best of me, so I booted up the poor excuse of a game that current DBD is...
And received only 100k, even though I had MANY Hawkins offerings.
