A great idea for Cue de gras. (Or whatever it's called)

That isn't fair. As a survivor if i out play a killer and get distance they shouldn't have a magical second chance button to possibly get the down before i get to a window or pallet. They shouldn't get rewarded for being outplayed. That makes no sense.

If the killer however out plays me on a loop which is already unfair by the way. I should have an ability on a 40-60 second cool down that i can use to get a possible reset on the chase by reaching a pallet or window which otherwise i wouldn't be able to reach. Or if i get caught out of position because maybe i am like eating a sandwich or something, i should be able to sprint away really fast on a 40-60 second cool down to get distance instead of getting caught like i should.

I should be able to make mistakes in a chase and still have a chance to get out of it but not the other way around. That makes no sense silly.

Really, though, I unironically like this idea. One of the big problems with Coup De Grace, besides the limited tokens, is that you can't control when you use it; you either get a mega lunge or you can't lunge, which makes it difficult to use. Either you save the lunges and hamper yourself when you just need a regular lunge, or you burn through the tokens faster than you need. So having it be an active ability would be a great functional improvement. I'd probably make the CD longer so that the killer doesn't have this every single chase (...which... gets a little uncomfortable when every single survivor runs Dead Hard, because suddenly it's an equivalent, but it still doesn't feel right to me because 40s is basically the same as not having a cooldown and the killer has way less downtime than survivors), but otherwise this would be a really sensible improvement.

And I agree, I do like the idea. I love Coup De Grace as it is and would love to see it be buffed.

I actually kinda dig the idea, although it might scare me from time to time as a survivor jus' caus' it's unexpected. I think it would be fun to try with other perks, even if I dun' play killer. One thing about it though, is 40 seconds reasonable?
