Legion and Their Feral Frenzy; Idea
What if Feral Frenzy was always on, but goes on a stun and a cool down for an amount of time if you hit a person with a deep wound already? You would still get told where people are when you hit someone and you still wouldn't see scratch marks. Would this be too OP or really bad? I think it'd make for a different way of playing that could be interesting.
Honestly even without a drastic change, Feral Frenzy needs to be longer to better encourage people to actually hit everyone. Their base speed should be normal, too.

The problem with legion is not getting the first hit its chaining hits with a duration that is awful for its intended use leaving players with no choice but to strike twice the same target.
The lethality of his power is what needs to be buffed as legions who arent running the purple addons that reduce required hits tend to be struggling massively compare to those that are. They should have legions default required hits be 3 and rework franks so its does something else so it cant drop any lower.
Perhaps franks tape extends the max duration of feral frenzy for each target stabbed is increased until its is put on cooldown. Just a thought in how to rework it so he dosent down in two hits as that would be way to powerful.0 -

I think the point of the character is to hit multiple survivors, therefore prolonging the game and possibly even catching someone while they're mending and can't move, but s/he isn't given enough time to actually get to survivors tbh. I would personally like it to be longer. I was just thinking what I offered as a redesign to be interesting, though they are unlikely to completely rework a character like that.

The movement/map pressure with an always-on Feral Frenzy would be insane... I think the FF tracking is too accurate to have all game as well; completely obliterates any stealth strats. It'd sure be interesting tho. I also think base speed could be brought up to default and that wouldn't break the game...@Zarathos
I don't think Legion necessarily NEEDS to be more lethal. I also see Legion's ability as primarily, a time-waster kind of like the Pig's Reverse Bear Traps. The power makes it easy to hit and find clumps of survivors and force them to waste time mending while one target is chased down. Perhaps instead of trying to make FF more lethal, maybe make it better at time-wasting? Or ideally, a perfect balance of both xD0 -

I don't think Legion necessarily NEEDS to be more lethal. I also see Legion's ability as primarily, a time-waster kind of like the Pig's Reverse Bear Traps. The power makes it easy to hit and find clumps of survivors and force them to waste time mending while one target is chased down. Perhaps instead of trying to make FF more lethal, maybe make it better at time-wasting? Or ideally, a perfect balance of both xD
If you dont want a competitive killer well i hope you don't mind the rank system matching you with competitive players because you play killers to a good standard. I could live with a crap legion if the game atmosphere wasnt always hyper competitve so untill they change the atmosphere of this game to be less sweaty tryhard i will expect my killers to be competitve.
Freddy doc and pig power capabilites are wasted on delay tactics thats why they are all low tier and for the most part crap. Even pigs best add ons are the dash attacks with her bear traps being terrible. Dbd needs either new modes or a meta shift with added objectives to make these killers a good pick. Hell even a casual queue would make playing some of these killers more bearable.

I think Legion needs a few tweaks here and there... i think hes not the best, but fine overall. What i suggest would be a good balancing for Legion would be the following: Adjust his hitbox so when you vault over a pallet, you can 100% block a survivor from running back at you and vaulting over the other side. Most of the time its 50/50. Make it where repeated frenzy hits at base are a max of 3 hits not 4. When you hit a survivor with frenzy, speed the killer up temporally for every hit you get. Finally, reduce the frenzy cool down by 1 second if you dont hit anyone while in frenzy.
This adds alot of dept but ill try to explain it as simple as i can. Legion is very punishing when your playing against SMART survivors. Smart survivors wont heal immediately after mending, they will separate but still gen rush, and finally they will respect pallets and loops when a Legion tries to chase them, and play more conservative since your Frenzy dosent matter as much when deep wounds is already applied.
The balancing above will reward Legion players for playing more reactive then proactive, and encourage bad survivors to spread out and away from Legion. Fixing the hitbox and frenzy time makes it where a survivor needs to commit to juking a legion over their own pallet, and reward Legion players for exiting frenzy without hitting anyone during it. You shouldn't tunnel a survivor for a lot of reasons, but tunneling with Legion will guarantee someone escaping, if not every survivor escaping. The speedup and max hits will reward a Legion for using their power to hit multiple survivors, and be less punishing if smart survivors stay far away from a Legion during frenzy.

Honestly this seems a bit more balanced... As it is, i don't enjoy playing legion. It needs some type of buff imo.

As for counterplay make it so his power consumes some of the gauge when he attacks so whiffing an attacks has consequnces. Whilst in chase with legion if you are in his tr your deep wound bar doesent drop below 30% so he can't just look at the ground and down you.
I have looped and beaten legions by moving around tje killers fov as they vault to force whiffs. It was tricky but its possible like nurse you need to break line of sight and juke whilst he is in ff. Legion is a weak killer. Once your aware of his counters but if you traditionally loop a ffing legion you will get downed.0 -

Buffs: longer frenzy to reach everyone, normal speed, nurses catches mending
Debuffs: increased amount of hits necessary to down with frenzy, stun or penalty for whiffs while in frenzy, pausing deep wound while in heartbeat
Legion is broken in one on one, but weak against the group. If you spread the pain, you'll get hurt. If you tunnel down and cheese, you'll win. The opposite should be true.0 -
