When your a good looper
It's faster for the killer to wait out hook phases than engage in chase.
You might hate camping but it's a result of new player coddling and killers being uninterested in drawn-out chases.

Who the heck is interested in drawn out chases? If I wanted that I would go back to F13th. When I'm spectating and I see a survivor looping a killer for what seems like forever, I tell my gf that it reminds me of some episode of America's Funniest Home Videos with the goofy music. Or an episode of 3 Stooges.

Well, if you’re good as killer, it’s faster to chase a survivor.

I’d rather chase people than just sit on the hook. I don’t want to be that guy.
7 -
That’s ok. You do you.

Unfortunately yes. And if you are at two gens with 4 alive and one on the hook, you don't have much choice with certain killers than to camp.
I will never hate killers for it.

How is camping more interesting than a long chase? Yeah I'd rather chase than camp.
I don't take the game that serious
Personal opinion.

im fine with being that guy.
I play PH just for that.

Yeah, and then you don't get better at chase.

Sometimes camping is necessary. Anyways I never understood why camping makes so many people mad. Camping has been a part of online gaming since I can remember.

You don't actually. The chase skill ceiling becomes stagnant when a Survivor is seriously good and that point the best thing you could get out of a chase is an early drop then onto the next and onto the next then if you made a miracle and got close enough for a secure hit then Dead hard comes out then entire process repeats again.
With that I don't think camping is good either but I do think they should resolve the problem with early game being potentially non existent due to RNG. You can invest more time in chases if the killer has the time for it essentially.

I wouldn't say it is more interesting so much as sometimes you need to slow the game down.

That's just taking the game serious which isn't for me.
Good for you, you take a game serious lol

That I get, but for people to say they would rather camp than have a fun long chase just baffles me personally is all

Chases on killers without mobility is the most boring thing ever. Every survivor in the game today just holds W and uses exhaustion perks. I played against 3 Lithe players yesterday on Lery's, it was such a tedious task to catch up everyone 3 times, i would rather camp next time.

I always hear the Benny Hill theme song when watching a long drawnout chase

The thing is that every "good" looper needs to have dead hard for some reason, if that perk didn't exist I would gladly take the chase if you are fun.

Lithe, Sprint burst, balanced landing... Every exhaustion perk is strong, Dead hard is just very versatile and basically, everyone thinks it's the best. But personally, I think lithe is WAY better. Looping became such a weird mechanic nowadays. Dead hard often is baitable, like with wraith, just use M2 and they think it's an M1. Most people understand Dead hard wrong i think.

When you're a bad looper, Killer tunnel because you're an easy target. Which choice do survivors have?
1 -
Dead hard for distance is not bait able And everyone has their preferences but I disagree with yours and will say that dead hard is the strongest exhaustion perk if the survivor is extremely good then sprint burst is better

If you're a Twins main like me, always XD

Hahaha it has been rough lately but I love them too much to give up on them, being on last gen console doesn't help either :'(

I'm really hoping they look into making the boons at the very least not INFINITELY relightable, but I'm not gonna hold my breath or I might die lol
