I wish we could detect and ban VPN users
Like why do you VPN... play on your own damn server.

uhm... why?

So they dont play on servers they arent meant to be on....
2 -
but why? What is your reasoning here? Higher ping? Not your problem.

It's my problem when they arent where I see them and lagging like a mf.

And who says they use VPN? I had survivor that just had ######### internet for w/e reason.
Some play SWF
Some just want to test
Nothing gives you or anyone else the right to ban them for that, except they would make the game worse a lot. It can happen, it will happen, VPN or not

Well Scott Jund is getting banned then for doing the NA vs EU experiment.

The lobby shows when the ping is not good, you can avoid it.

i use vpn in general not for lagging or whatever..more for fun and playing with na guys because playing with them its more enjoyable as with eu guys for me. the only reason for not using vpn is server selection. but dbd has no server selection.

Basically expoilting though, the game was made unplayable because of it.
Wasnt even that close of a player, profile is listed as Australia so that's like 250+ping if I was to go on that server
Lobby shows my connection to my server. They used VPN to go on my server, my connection was fine it was theres. They was legit teleporting as they walked and was going for ridiculous hits. Imagine spirits passive phase on all killers happening every second odd to get the kinda idea what it was

I don't know if that happens to everyone, but every time I turn off the crossplay option I get survivors exclusively from distant regions. I'm on SA and I get EU/NA survivors so it's not a VPN thing, at least for me.

Why? Killers mostly VPNing to other countries to get free hits and matches. Simple.
As survivor is not a good idea to VPN.
