Types of Killers

There are three types of killers in my mind:

Those who tryhard, camp and tunnel just to be jerks, or to get a "well deserved" 4K

Those who tryhard, camp and tunnel when provoked, originally wanting to play fair, but either got fed up with toxic survivors or got mady wady that they didn't get there "well deserved" 4K

Those who don't tryhard, camp or tunnel because they care for the game and want to make matches as fair as possible and only camp or tunnel survivors as a form of punishment for being toxic. Maybe even to survivors who are trying to purposefully sabotage the other survivors, idk. (biggest of chads)

I want to clarify, this is, more or less, a joking post, based in some semblance of how I actually feel about other killer main as one myself.

Point it, don't tunnel or camp unless it's to punish survivors who are being toxic, either to you or possibly even their own teammates. And if you say, "it's the only way to actually win" or whatever. There's a 50/50 chance that all you're doing is making the problem worse.

Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk. Or would it be Dead Talk?

They are simply too rare of a breed. I have no knowledge of creatures retaining such purity and innocence.

Knocking off the accent, those people tend to be playing the game for the first time. Eventually, they either quit due to not liking it, or become one of the three jokingly mentioned.

I wish I could be like those people, if they exist. Continuing to play the game casually meanwhile not caring about other players.

    Hmm.

    Let me explain what happens.

I'd say that most killers of a certain level go in really sweaty, and if need be (and they are feeling nice, or haven't been provoked) they'll ease up.

This makes sense. If you start off chill, you run the risk of getting stomped and teabagged all the way to the gate, then told 'GG EZ get out scrub games full' in postgame.

If you start off sweaty then ease up, you'll often be thanked.

    Also:

I'm sick and tired of the word 'fair' being bandied around.

Playing killer is basically an exercise in unfairness.

    • Validation bug that will likely never be fixed
    • Busted boons
    • Frustrating maps with pseudo-infinites that have existed for months
    • Frequent, bizarre and heavy handed nerfs to underperforming killers
    • Survivors expecting to escape every game, and DCing the second you hook them and running to the forums to complain about 'x is unfun to play against', which usually means 'I can't get easy wins against x'.

    I'm done playing 'fair'.

I'm going to do my level best to wipe you out initially, and if I'm stomping (and you haven't BMed me) I might ease up.

The REAL three types of Killers.

    1. The tryhard who only runs the meta and employs "toxic" tactics to secure a 4K. Will smack you on hook unprovoked, teabag as Ghostface and leave the last Survivors crawling for the entirely of the Endgame Collapse.

    2. The regular Killer player who starts off playing fairly, but is quickly forced into camping and tunneling by the Survivor side's actions. Will only Smack you on hook if that Survivor teabagged them unprovoked in the chase before, only teabags as Ghostface if they're emoting with a friendly Survivor and gives the last Survivor hatch if they're feeling generous that game.

    3. Killers who lose and are bullied by Survivors into the first Killer type.

(This is also a joke, but one somewhat rooted in reality)
