Overheat was the better option for billy
I've spoken to one of the devs about removing the overheat and have been told there was discussions about removing the initial turning at the start of the sprint (Curving). So good thing they stayed with the overheat because that would be a massive nerf to Hillbilly.
P.S please give us his old animations and make Hillbilly roar only on chainsaw hits, thank you

I still think he would be better off without overheat. And if they were to remove the extra turning at the start of a sprint... yeah there would be literally no reason to play billy compared to bubba or blight since they do his job better for one or both his parts.

With how the maps are designed now, Billy would be even more of a dead killer if they removed the curving.
I still think overheat was a bad idea, what could have they done was just add anti camping cooldown like Bubba has.

Well yeah "anti-camping". Its more of a "you can't hold m2 ready to start a sweep permanently" Basically they prevented pre-rework bubba from being a thing even though his tantrum bar goes down MUCH faster than billy' overheat.

Well, it is supposed to be one, you cannot rev your chainsaw for too long, otherwise you'll go into tantrum. It just prevents Bubba from facecamping someone with his chainsaw ready to be let go.

Bubba's anticamping literally does nothing. I'm convinced they just thought they came up with a clever idea and never even tested it.

That can be the description of most of their failed reworks as I doubt they actually tested billy or clown(Failed at either buffing him or making him more skillful).

Sure overheat is bad but curving is now literaly the fun part about Billy. Removing that and he would be pretty much dead because his gameplay would be frustrating and with little to no reward. Flicking and curving makes Billys day and if they ever consider buffing him they could make the initial curving window longer...
