Can we lose the liscene to saw? I'm hoping so
Honestly if the game map was to be gone forever I'd be happy. This map is just a joke at high mmr, like as if it wasnt hard enough on normal maps against good loopers and optimal people on gens... why we have to add 20odd safe pallets that have no mindgame as a basic attack killer...
Edit: just gonna go afk if I get this map multiple times a day or I'm not feeling it. I'll humour it once, but that's it. Absolute joke you expect me to do as well on this than other maps so I'm gonna save myself the impossible task, save the hassle and avoid the mass amount of toxicity for struggling on it.

It's kind of sad this is becoming a popular thought on the threads. It really shows that, while licenses are initially exciting, the maps that accompany them are bad for the game and players would probably br happier without them. I hope this inspires the devs to make healthier changes where they can.

I've always hated the Game map, both before and after the rework. Before it was just obnoxious trying to find stairs to get around between floors, but now there are so many dead ends and breakable walls too. It was like they looked at an already bad map and thought "how can we make it worse?" 😂

I like The Game and I like Midwich. Both are okay maps for me and while those pallets are nasty I think the main idea here is that stealthy Killers would become to oppressive if you could not evade them after they came around the corner. Imagin what Ghostface could do on this map if it only had like half the pallets...
Midwich is fine too. It has a good design and is very fitting for the overall DbD theme. Also I still get the jump scare when that body falls out of the locker...every...damn...time...

I can respect not enjoying it, but I LOVE that map. If anything I want them to get expanded licensing so that they add more tiles with different trap rooms in the films, and then let the tiles switch around their spawn locations more often.

With enough feedback, we have a better chance of getting the dev team to make changes to poorly received maps than comment on an NFT situation that A) They can't comment on and B) likely goes way above the level of the dev team since it's a business deal, not a part of the game they can do anything about.

The Game has way too many god pallets, that’s a fact. The basement alone has 2 god pallets outside of it back to back… how is that ok?

Well I was sad at losing hawking's even as survivor, it actually had some very good loops and strong positions to be in. Not to mention some weak pallets would create near infinites but bad players never got that.
I just hate this map because they see you at every loop and they're just stupidly strong if not god pallets. So its force to break about 20+pallets

Well a kill would be god damn lucky on that map without camping, even then its be BT body blocks etc.
Honestly I dont get what we're even balancing around, seems to be people that lack even the most basic of knowledge (new players)

The game is balanced around a 2K at low to mid ranks, basically 0-1K at high rank. 😂

You know we don't need to lose the license. The devs could just balance the map by removing some of the hundred million pallets on it.

That's true. However, since "I'd rather lose a license than deal with a ######### map" is becoming a popular topic, I suspect more people will start DCing, going AFK, or suiciding on hook on those maps. That seems to be the most effective way to get the devs attention to make changes. Don't like something? Just DC until you get your way. This is all just speculation obviously.

Licenced maps are generally terrible.
Hawkins - I liked it on both sides but it gives the killer either a massive advantage or they can barely use their power at all
Meat plant - wall to wall god pallets. Camp them or just instathrow them, it's unlikely you'll run out
Midwich - it's grown on me but still a horrible map with W key enthusiasts. Object nerf improved this map a lot. Shadow step has worsened it again.
Haddonfield - doesn't even need to be said
RCPD - one of these offerings has an even higher chance of cancelling the game than haddonfield since survivors also generally dislike it.

The only thing I didn’t like about the original version of The Game was that the lower level was way too dark. Some areas it was impossible to see where I was going at all. The graphics update fixed that issue, I can see just fine down there now, so as far as I’m concerned The Game is basically ok. I like Midwich and Hawkins better as indoor maps, and I like the corn maps less than The Game, so I’d say it’s average in terms of personal taste.

I hate that this is something people are asking for. Your basically asking for dbd to become more stale when it comes to map rotation and on top of that your asking for characters to be removed for newer players as well like in what world does that sound like a good idea?

What's stale is never having a chance. They know full well it's full of god pallets and yet keep it. So yeah hope the liscene goes, will get rid of that garbage unbalanced map while I get to keep the characters

I hate rpd with all my might but I'm not thinking 'hmmmm I wish they would remove the re licence so I don't have to play on this map'

I suggest if you care about getting a 4K so much lower your mmr because I play on the game all of the time and I always have a chance to win both as survivor and killer. As for the characters it not fair that just because you dislike something with a license all of it content should be taken away from newer players.

Those map are a nightmare for killer. In rpd its really to find the survivor or the stair and most of the loop have a safe pallet or a god pallet.
In midwich the map promote the hold w meta because you can see the killer coming from the other side of the corridor so you can just start running the second you see him and if by some miracle the killer is on you you enter a classroom and jump the window for free distance or you can loop around there because those window are really stromg if they dont get block immediatly.

Pretty unlikely since the SAW people are probably closer to behavior than any other licensing partner. They showed up on the 5th anniversary stream, have allowed a tome based on Amanda and Tapp, allowed the pig mask for meg, spiral charm etc. Don't feel like that relationship is going upside down anytime soon, really.

They can easily rework where the pallets spawn. They need to get rid of at least one of the god pallets by basement, get rid of one of the pallets in the surveillance room, and remove any pallets where it’s impossible to go around (forced to break).

It's...fine. It's not the best map, but it's far from being Badham, Haddonfield or RPD. At least there are no frigging infinites or freebie gens.
They need to stop boon totems from working between floors.

I wouldn't say that by any means. I genuinely enjoy most of the liscensed maps in the game, save for RPD and Badham. (I don't even think Badham is bad. I just don't enjoy it as much as the others.)
Idk, I think they're definitely wild on the balancing end, but I appreciate the care and detail put into them. Like, Hawkins has some really cool and interesting loop spots and totem spots, and has a lot of good stuff from the show. (Like the sensory deprivation tank, Eleven's room the portal room). And every liscensed map has that to some degree, so I can't help but love them overall. (Like Haddonfield has the hedge and the pumpkin. Saw has the Bathroom, TV room. Midwich actually has a jumpscare in it and has the secret... and that's just to name a few.)
Idk, I just really appreciate liscensed maps for the amount of care and detail put into them to be such good love letters to their franchises, while still having it's own unique twists.
