mad grit is a the new sweaty meta

Just got told that I was a sweaty killer for bringing lethal pursuer, mad grit, agitation, and lightborn(4 flashlights and with how odd angles have been lately I didnt feel like taking chances) On top of that I got sent to RPD as demo. They all pretty much went down instantly and with how RPD is I was able to keep two people on hooks like 10 meters away from each other. The moment I hooked someone, another survivor was unhooking the other. I downed the unhooker, they tried to flashlight save but with mad grit I was able to down all 4 of them as they kept taking hits. After that 3/4 of them DC'd and then the other one died on hook before DCing as well mid death animation. Aftermath chat I was told I was sweaty, as far as I was aware I played fair, no camping, no tunneling, its not my fault you went down so quick and the hooks were so close together.


I just find it funny that I'm running a meme build with zero slowdown, get sent to RPD shudders and I'm the sweaty one lol.

    Tbh lightborn is fair, whats not fair is the fact that we can look away as killer and still get blinded

    Once you learn flashlight counterplay it isn't as necessary, but if I see 3-4 of them in lobby I often throw it on just as a bit of an f u. Flashlight squads are just tedious, and I love just trashing their plans.

    You should never leave home without the blessing of lightborn, so when you think about it, fair is irrelevant. Always wear protection.

    It's bugged right now iirc.

    You are still doing the turbo attack but the animation can't keep up. On the survivor their screen you are hacking away.

    But the question is, why would a survivor purposely want to go to rcpd? I had a survivor bring rcpd and I was playing pig, and I 4kd all of them. two of them died to their trap (or was it one? can't remember) All-in-all, that map sucks whether you're killer or survivor, and I'm confused on why they deliberately want to go to rcpd.

    Mad Grit may not work most of the time but when it does it's pretty hilarious. Got a lot of snowballs with it because people kept blocking the hook and I'm just laughing my ass off

    This. It's one thing to know how to deal with flashlights and another to have to spend a minute swatting people away from your down just so you're finally able to pick them up and hook them. I don't even care that the whole team is wasting their time and I get health states out of it, it's just obnoxious as hell. Tedious is a very good word for the process and Lightborn cuts through the bullshit when you run into a four flashy squad.

    Plus people get so pissed when they figure it out. You'd think blinding the killer is their god-given right, the reactions you get.

    I'm getting blinded nowdays from sides and even looking at the wall so lightborn is fair play. Also franklins. If i dont have lightborns and i see more than 1 flashlight im taking franklins.

    Mad grit is fun. So many people try to bodyblock and be cute infront of the killer nowdays so it just makes me giggle while im using it.
